Igor F.août 2022We went on a family trip (2 adults, 2 small kids) for 3 weeks with Chris and Danielle's "Family Chateau" RV. We went to the north shore of Lake Superior and then back to southern Ontario. The RV was perfect for our family of 4! It was roomy, and had everything we needed. Chris and Danielle even included lots of extras like lots of extra blankets/comforters (very helpful for chilly nights), games, DVDs, BBQ with propane and lots of other things. This was our first RV trip and we were somewhat nervous (particularly going to less populated areas), but Danielle and Chris did an A+ job of supporting us through our journey. We experienced a couple of issues and they responded with help in minutes. The biggest issue is that the toilet broke towards the end of our trip. Within minutes Chris was arranging for us to meet with a repair person along our itinerary, arranged everything, and got the toilet fixed. Would definitely rent from Chris and Danielle again in the future if the opportunity comes up!
Jennifer K.sept. 2021AMAZING! This was our first RV trip, and it took our traditional camping to the next level! We did Kingston - Ottawa - Algonquin - Muskoka Tour and made the best family memories. It was the perfect way to end the summer. We highly recommend an RV trip! Chris and Danielle were wonderful in helping us get organized going above an beyond. They have thought of everything and the RV was perfectly stocked! We are already planning and looking forward to our next trip. RV Hosts Chris and Danielle were very helpful with answering our questions and providing travel tips before and during our vacation. Fully stocked supplies for anything anyone would need on an RV trip was provided and very appreciated! They are kind and communicative, knowledgeable and helpful. They were so easy to get ahold of if we needed anything and they went above and beyond to be helpful. Renting the RV from them took all the stress out of the trip. We are a family of five and Chris & Danielle made sure that we had everything needed for the trip and then some. They took the time to patiently explain everything to us and included a binder of information to take with us. The RV itself was easy to drive, comfortable and clean (which in and of itself made us comfortable) and has the best beds. That might seem like a silly comment to make, but we had the best sleeps in that RV. Out like a light every night. I can't recommend these hosts enough. They're terrific. Happy travels!

- Jack F.sept. 2020This was our first RV experience and The Family Chateau On Wheels is a comfortable drive with accommodations that were perfect for the two of us. The 2007 RV, which has been recently renovated, was spotless and fully stocked with every necessity required for camping. We added food and clothes and off we went. There was one hiccup....that held us up most of a day. The starter died on the truck. Chris and Danielle, along with Roadside Assistance and Rvezy were immediately on the other end of the phone trying to find a solution. This happened on a Friday afternoon in a restaurant parking lot in Little Currant. They did find a mobile mechanic that arrived Saturday morning.... he was able to replace the starter allowing us to continue our trip. Unfortunately, we lost a day/night of Beachfront RVing‼️, and had out-of-pocket expenses of approx. $125.00. Lake Superior is a fantastic RVing destination, and we will certainly repeat this trip!

They checked on us periodically to ensure all was fine with the RV, They were personable and professional in our dealings with them. The RV was excellent and well maintained. - Geoff S.août 2020Chris and Danielle made our first family RV trip unforgettable with their professional and caring service! The early pickup was really appreciated so that we could pack the night before our trip. The RV was very clean and completely stocked with everything that we could need and Chris explained the operation of the RV quickly and simply. Chris was available by text almost instantly if we had a question. The RV performed very well on our 3000 km journey into the hills north of Superior. It drives like a truck since it is one but you quickly get used to the feel. Backing up is not for the faint of heart but can be accomplished with a helper and the great mirrors. Things we liked the most about the RV: bug proof, dry and warm, running water. Sleeps 4 comfortably - could sleep 5 if the person was a child. More than two adults would be very tight. The shower was big enough and was definitely a bonus during pandemic travel to campgrounds. Highly recommended!

Tracy P.juil. 2020We had the best time exploring Ontario North and the Family Chateau made the journey that much better. First, Chris and Danielle are the BEST hosts. You want an owner that is available, responsive, and supportive at all times and Chris and Danielle were all of that and more. Being that we are newbies to RVing we really counted on their support and advice throughout our journey. The Family Chateau is super clean and well maintained and while an older model, many elements have been updated (as the pics show). It has a really comfy master queen bed at back and nice clean and comfortable linens and towels are provided. We are a family of 5 including 3 teenage boys and while most of time was spent outside kayaking, hiking, or fishing it was nice to have the RV to relax in (and nap!)...especially when it was raining. Lots of games are provided too! And ask to rent their pizza oven ...it’s a must! Chris and Danielle were wonderful to communicate with and the RV was in immaculate maintained and in spotless condition. The RV was also much easier to drive than we expected as we were able to do daily site-seeing excursions with ease. The beds were very comfortable and we all felt very at home all week even though were were totally off the grid at our campsite. Will definitely recommend Chris and Danielle's RVs to friends and family. A solid 5 star review!!

The RV was kept in very clean condition and we were pleasantly surprised with the many unexpected day-to-day items that were included (i.e. Ziplock bags, cleaning supplies, dish soap along with towels and extra bedding/pillows). We had an issue with the furnace while out of province, and Chris arranged for me to go to a serviceman's home; the repair was completed by the next evening. I would highly recommend renting an RV from Chris and Danielle. You will not be disappointed! Regarding the question about delivery, I picked up the RV from the renter's home; no delivery

They walked us through every step of using the RV, were available at all times for one-off questions and on-the-road support, and did it all with kindness, flexibility and generosity. The RV was fully stocked with linens, cook-ware and cleaning supplies, making our experience a full one-stop shop. The RV was easy to drive and the seats and beds were SO comfortable. I can't say enough about our experience with Chris & Danielle - if you're looking to rent this as a film crew or for personal use, go with Chris & Danielle.

My husband and I brought our daughter with us and as she has been ill and had numerous surgeries in the past few years we wanted to give her a positive and enjoyable vacation. They are always willing to help with any questions or issues you may have along the way. They make sure to outfit the RV with everything you would need.. This was our first time renting/driving an RV. This RV handled well and was easy to drive around, especially for a newbie like me. Our trip to Maine included four adults and a one year old baby.. before we left we had some difficulty figuring out how to secure rear-facing car seat. Once that was sorted out we were all able to travel comfortably. If you have a baby and need to take a car seat Chris and Danielle will be able to explain how to safely set it up. Overall, this was a great experience! We will definitely consider renting from Chris and Danielle again in the future.

Linens, games, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, chairs, tables, bbq etc were all there for us. The booklet was very helpful with instructions on how to do everything in the RV. The vehicle performed as expected. Very comfortable. For our first RV trip we give this one a 5 stars. You will like renting from this wonderful couple.
