This RV was perfect for our needs. We used in during the month of March and it kept us very warm and comfortable. I don’t drive a lot of long vehicles but this one was easy to drive and with the backup camera, it is super easy to maneuver. Tons of sleeping space, all the amenities, and systems needed to make for an enjoyable time! Would recommend this RV to anyone. Kristine and Mike were a pleasure to deal with.
We rented the Scramper for a week, driving the entire perimeter of Nova Scotia. The RV was clean and stocked with basic utensils, cleaning supplies, towels, sheets, etc. The RV, itself, performed well, even on some very steep and narrow roads. Remember, you aren't driving a VW bug, so getting out of some narrow spaces and full parking lots can be a challenge, but the Scramper has a camera that engages when backing up, which helps immensely. Before taking off, Megan gave us a thorough tour. That, along with the clear written instruction booklet, made what at first seemed daunting actually quite easy to manage. Finally, we want to give a shout-out to Nova Scotia and their marvelous provincial parks. The Scramper and the provincial parks made for a lovely week.
We were looking for the ability to be flexible on our trip and this met all the requirements! It was a fabulous way to travel! I would highly recommend using Caroline's camper van to anyone!

Halifax is a popular spot for campers, with several highly rated RV parks a short drive from downtown. One of the best RV campgrounds in Halifax is Woodhaven RV Park. Conveniently located a 30-minute drive from the heart of the city, Woodhaven RV Park features 147 full-hookup sites with 15/30/50-amp electricity. While there's not much to do at camp, you'll be within touching distance of two golf courses and a water park. Home comforts include a laundromat, free Wi-Fi, and showers. This campground is open seasonally from the beginning of May through Thanksgiving Monday.
If you'd prefer to camp along a river slightly further from the city, check out the Halifax West KOA. Perched on the Sackville River, 34 kilometres (21 miles) from downtown, the Halifax West KOA is the perfect mix of convenience and seclusion. Each site comes with full hookups and max-amp electricity. Spend your downtime fishing on the Sackville River, or laze around the on-site swimming pool. The Halifax West KOA is also pet friendly, and there's even an area where you can walk your pup. Amenities around camp include bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities.
Alternatively, you can escape the city altogether and stay at Graves Island Provincial Park. Located just under an hour from Halifax on a small island, Graves Island Provincial Park features one of the highest-rated campgrounds near Halifax. Sites come with water and electric hookups that support 30-amp electricity. There are few better campgrounds for getting outdoors, with hiking trails, canoeing in Mahone Bay, and swimming opportunities. You'll also find a few basic amenities around camp, including a dump station, showers, and vault toilets.

This Airstream was a dream to camp in and tow. The camper was very clean and had more than needed. My Mom and I had a fantastic vacation on the Cabot Trail boondocking and stays at fancy RV places. Not one issue. Matt was equally as pleasant to work with!
