About Caroline

Versatile DIY camper van with loads of storage space, all the necessities, and comfortable bed. Owners are very laid back and gave appropriate amount of instructions on using the van’s amenities. Spent night in 3 separate locations and packed up with ease. Even during the hottest days of the summer the vans ventilation system allowed for comfortable sleeps.

The van was PERFECT for our (my 2 kids and I) 13-night camping adventure around Nova Scotia and Cape Breton (we didn't want to leave!). I loved being able to pull into a campsite and get right to making dinner - no tent set up required! We were comfortable in the queen bed and an extra mattress below slept 3 of us comfortably. The campervan had everything we needed - dishes, salt and pepper, coffee and French press, linens. Caro was super responsive when we had questions. Renting the the gas stove was a win for us too!! The little fridge (solar powered!) was perfect for us too. We would rent again!!

I rented the van and did a solo trip around the Cabot trail and then down to Lunenburg. It was perfect. It’s longer than your average truck but handles really well and is easy to drive and park. The bed is very comfortable, having a fridge and running water inside the van was such an added benefit. Lots of storage and space in the van. Solar power meant not needing to book a serviced site.The van is well kept and everything was explained very well before leaving. Would definitely book again!

We just returned from a drive trip on the south side of Nova Scotia. The camper van performed well and was perfect for my daughter and I. It had everything that we needed. Caroline was great, a caring host, who was in constant communication throughout. Thank you Caroline !

My husband and I got RVing all over western Canada, this year we decided to drive the Cabot trail in Nova Scotia for a change. This van was perfect for us. Easy to drive, park, and reasonable on fuel. Our host was super responsive to our requests and questions and schedule! Plus they shared a nice cup of coffee after our red eye flight which was super helpful!

We really enjoyed our experience and were able to explore Nova Scotia with the freedom of what van life offers. Caroline and Erwan were easy to communicate with and set us up for a great time. The van functioned well and was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time with this van! The hosts are very communicative, helpful, and flexible/accomodating. They gave us a thorough tour and all important details on pickup,so we didn't come across anything we were unprepared for. van contains everything you need - bedding, stove, chairs, water, etc. we brought our two dogs along with us for our trip and they absolutely loved the van! We will definitely book again. Highly recommend.

Caroline and Erwan were so wonderful to work with, they communicated every little detail and were available anytime we needed input on the van. I'm so happy we did our first van trip with their van, we will definitely rent more!

Caroline is great. She explained me all how to use things in the van. Van is comfortable, has all you need for a few days trip and easy to drive.

Van is great for a two person trip. Smooth ride with lots of amenities. Make sure you’re agile enough to climb up on a bunk bed. Overall, great option.

Awesome experience, Caroline even sent us away with some toys for our 1 year old and other helpful items that made the trieven better.

Nice van and no problems with the rental

Caroline was a great host - clear, prompt communication and very accommodating. The solar power worked well - we had all the power we needed for fridge and lights for the trip. The van has clearly seen some use but was very clean when we picked it up. Lots of space under the bed for all our gear.

We had an amazing trip with the van! You can camp anywhere remote to get beautiful views. Caroline and Erwin were excellent with communication and explained everything we needed to know before we left. The van had a very comfortable bed, a great seating area (key for enjoying the views!) and came equipped with plenty of blankets and essentials for cooking. We would easily recommend this to anyone!!

The van was easy to drive and park and everything we needed was in the van. There was a lot of space under the bed which allowed us to bring our mountain bikes with us. We were able to camp off grid because of the solar panels and when there was not much sun we did have to seek out a campsite and plug in. Caroline the owner was an awesome support and answered our questions in a timely fashion. Only negative was the interior space felt a bit cramped, but the ease of driving the van outweighed the negative.

The Van was very easy to drive clean, very well equipped. It made our Nova Scotia trip to visit both our friends and families very easy. I would definitely rent again, highly recommend 👌.

Caroline and Erwan were very nice people! The van had everything you would ever need to have a great camping experience. Warm on the cool nights and breezy on the hot days. Van is easy to drive for anyone who is not familiar with longer vehicles. Thank you for a wonderful camping vacation.

Had a great mini adventure with this van! Caroline was awesome to work with, responsive, organized and enthusiastic. She went above and beyond to share info and resources with us which was appreciated! The van was excellent, some serious thought went into its design and build. We rented in mid-Nov and were warm and cozy on cold nights by the ocean! Clean, organized (lots of space for your stuff) and easy to drive, we would highly recommend renting from Vanlife_in_the-Maritimes!

Amazing amazing amazing! We had the best time renting this camper van. We hope to repeat this experience again next summer. It was an unforgettable experience, as we travelled Cape Breton for our honeymoon with our pup. Although the weather was unpredictable, from sun to hail this time of season (fall), we were very comfortable in the camper. It is cozy, and well insulated; no complaints. The host were pleasant to deal with, and we have recommended them to multiple our of friends already! Cheers!

This van was everything we wanted and more! The van was spotless and organized, it felt like moving into a second home for the weekend. Caroline put a significant amount of quality work into this build, and it shows. We travelled at the end of September and did not need to use the heater once because the van was so well insulated. The van has everything you could possibly need for a vacation; tons of storage space, a kitchenette with everything you need to cook a meal, a beautiful kitchen table, as well as electricity and running water! The van was really comfortable and easy to drive, small enough to fit in a parking spot but still very spacious. We definitely plan on renting with Caroline again and have recommended it to our friends and family!

Kro and Erwan were great hosts and the van was great for a long weekend trip! The van was clean and comfortable and everything worked well. We were especially impressed with the power system! Neat details with storage and the fridge doubling as a bench made the space functional and convenient. If you are interested in trying a converted van I would definitely recommend this rental

It was our first RV road trip experience and we really enjoyed it. Caroline is a great host and is 100% available to help and support the trip. The van is perfectly prepared and so comfortable. Very nice trip! Caroline has given all necessary explanation when we took the RV and stayed available during the trip whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend renting the RV from Caroline.
