The renter service fee of 10% applies to the total rental amount, including any add-ons, mileage overages, and additional post-trip charges. Damage fees, as well as insurance, are not subject to the renter's service fee. A minimum service fee of $10/night for trailers and $15/night for motorhomes applies to all bookings.
An owner service fee of 20% applies to the total amount an owner charges the renter for their trip. Total trip charges can include the RV rental rate, cleaning fees, delivery charges, optional add-ons, and incidental charges upon return (i.e., additional mileage, generator usage, closeout). This fee is only applied to paid bookings and is deducted before the owner's payout. The service fee does not apply to damage charges and is subject to the tax applied in your Province/State.
The owner service fee includes insurance, so there is no additional charge for your RV to be protected during the rental. If you decide to opt-out of our insurance, the service fee will remain the same.
The service fee covers payment processing, marketing promotion, listing management, support, and insurance costs to protect your RV.
Motorhomes must be less than 20 years old. Trailers must be less than 25 years old. RVezy offers commercial rental insurance to cover your RV during the rental period. Insurance protection for owners is included in the owner service fee. If you decide to opt-out of our insurance, the service fee will remain the same.
Please note, owners must have personal RV insurance on their unit to qualify for RVezy's commercial rental coverage. An owner's personal RV insurance is never affected in any way when they rent out their RV on RVezy.
For a small additional fee, owners can choose to have their RV listing featured at the top of relevant search results. Featured RVs increase booking requests by an average of 30%. This fee is only applied to paid bookings and is deducted before the owner payout. Enable the "Featured RV" option from the "Earn More" section of your listing.
Note: Taxes may apply to the service fee based on your State or Province of residence.
If a renter returns the RV after the agreed upon return time, the renter will be charged a fee of $100 and an administrative fee of $50. The full amount will be deducted from the renter’s security deposit.
Members of the RVezy community understand that an RV can sometimes get dirty, therefore, an acceptable level of dirt can be expected. However, if this is excessive, a $150 cleaning fee and a $50 administration fee will be applied to the renter. The full amount will be deducted from the renter’s security deposit.
If a renter does not show up to collect the RV and has not contacted the owner or a member of the RVezy team, they will be charged the total amount of the reservation.
If an RV is returned without being full of fuel/propane/gasoline, the RV owner will provide RVezy with a copy of the replenishment receipt and the full amount will be deducted from the renter’s security deposit.
A $50 administrative fee will also be charged to the renter.
If an RV is returned with missing items or damage, the owner will have to advise RVezy of the problem. The value of all damage and missing items will be deducted from the security deposit.
If there is a dispute about the deductions made to the security deposit, a member of the RVezy team will be happy to help the renter and the RV owner reach an agreement.
