RV travelers should note that US-191 climbs and descends several grades through the Abajo foothills, and side routes toward Cedar Mesa and Valley of the Gods include steep, narrow, and unpaved sections unsuitable for larger rigs. The nearest commercial airports for fly-and-rent trips are Canyonlands Regional in Moab and Four Corners Regional in Farmington, New Mexico, with Grand Junction and Durango as larger alternatives.
