Loved our experience with Sandy from start to finish. He communicated very well, including letting us know about the need to reserve a campsite ahead of time. The camper was very well stocked with kitchen items. The beds were soft and well prepared. They met us when we arrived to set up the RV and explain everything. The weather was very cold and so the water froze one morning. Sandy came right over within minutes and helped us get it going again. Very nice people and very honest. There were extra things we had ordered that we didn’t need so he offered to takeoff those charges. We would absolutely come back and use them again. We were a family with small children and they even agreed that it felt like home. Thank you for a great experience!

The host/owner is great and was responsive to multiple messages and calls. I had some problems with the outlets and heat, but some of the problems were user error and KJ will look into the intermittent electrical problem. Nothing impacted the fun factor of my short trip to Zion National Park, which was spectacular this time of year. The van made visiting the park and staying at a campground so enjoyable. We had a nice home base but could easily pull over to enjoy the views and make a hot meal or sandwich. Total game changer. The van would be tight for more than two people but it was perfect for me. It drives like an SUV, not like a big camper or RV. I'd happily rent from KJ again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – The Perfect RV Experience! We visited Zion National Park and had an incredible experience renting Jason’s trailer. From start to finish, Jason was professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. He communicated clearly before booking, answered all our questions, and stayed in touch through drop-off and pick-up. The trailer itself was beautiful, spotless, and perfectly maintained — my wife is very particular about cleanliness, and even she was impressed! It comfortably fit the three of us, but it could easily accommodate more with the main bed, couch bed, table bed, and two bunk beds. Since this was our first time renting a trailer, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Jason made it effortless. He delivered and set everything up, so all we had to do was unpack our clothes — within 20 minutes, we were off on our first hike! If you’re looking for a stress-free, comfortable, and clean RV experience with excellent communication, Jason’s trailer is the one to book. We’re already planning our next trip, and our first call will be to Jason!

Lincoln was great and very helpful. His willingness to meet with me early, as a first time RVezy user, was appreciative. I felt like Lincoln made this experience great. He answered my questions before and during pick-up. Lincoln was also very willing to listen to my suggestions as to what could make the experience even better for first time renters.

Clark was an excellent host, Van was a very quality build, and was perfect for our group of three. He took the time to go over all the systems, and the vehicle was very well stocked with everything we needed. This is a high-end van, and is very capable for any journey. We hope to rent again!

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Utah

What does it cost to rent an RV in Utah, and how can I find the best deals?

Great news: an RV rental in Utah can fit just about any budget. Expect nightly rates to range from $85 for basic travel trailers to $250+ for high-end motorhomes, especially during summer. Spring and fall are Utah’s hidden gems for cheap RV rental options: rates drop, and crowds thin out. Want a deal? Filter by price or book a few weeks in advance to catch early-bird specials. Planning your Utah RV trip for midweek often saves you the most. Your rental total always includes RVezy’s protection package and roadside help, so it’s a no-stress value.

Do I need a special license to drive an RV in Utah?

All you need to rent an RV in Utah is a regular driver’s license and to be at least 25 years old. There’s no need for a commercial or special RV license, even for big Class A or Class C motorhomes. Just bring your valid license when you pick up or receive your RV: your ID will be quickly confirmed through the RVezy platform for a smooth start to your adventure. First time renting an RV? Most renters find taking the wheel in Utah’s open country roads far easier than they expected.

What’s RVezy’s cancellation policy if my Utah trip plans change?

Booking an RV rental in Utah is low-risk. RVezy's cancellation policy is clear: you get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of the host accepting your booking and payment. After that, refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel: more than 30 days before the trip, you forfeit only the service fee; between 8 and 30 days, 50% of the rental; 7 days or less, the full rental. Can I bring my dog or cat on my Utah RV rental?

Absolutely, pet-friendly RV rental in Utah is easy to find: just use the pet-friendly filter when searching. Many RVezy hosts welcome furry companions, so your dog can join you hiking to Delicate Arch or stargazing in Moab. Remember to check individual listings for pet rules, and always bring cleaning supplies for that red Utah dust. For local adventure, Sand Hollow State Park and Escalante are top pet-friendly stops. Book early, as pet-friendly units are in demand.

Can I get my RV delivered and set up at a Utah campground?

Yes, many hosts offer RV delivery in Utah: including setup at your campground, driveway, or even a festival site. This makes your first campervan rental in Utah effortless: pick your campground (like Watchman in Zion or Sand Flats near Moab), book your favorite RV, and let the host handle everything else. You’ll get a complete walkthrough to learn how everything works, right at your site. This is perfect if you’re flying in, new to RVs, or just want a smooth start to RV camping in Utah.

How far can I travel in my Utah RV rental and what’s included for mileage?

You set your adventure's pace: most RV rentals in Utah include a daily mileage allowance (often 100-200 miles), and many hosts offer extra miles or even unlimited mileage for a flat fee. Salt Lake City to Zion National Park is about 300 miles round trip: very doable for a long weekend. Always check your listing for mileage details, and message the host if you’re planning a longer RV road trip from Utah. Pro tip: map out your route in advance for epic options like Arches, Canyonlands, and Bryce all in one loop.

Where are the best places to park or camp an RV in Utah?

Utah shines for RV camping: choose iconic campgrounds like Watchman in Zion, Dead Horse Point near Moab, and Wahweap RV & Campground on Lake Powell. For more options, Antelope Island State Park offers easy-access lakeside sites, while KOA Salt Lake City is great for urban stays. Each spot has hookups, dump stations, and stunning views. Book well ahead for national parks (reservation windows open 6 months out). Utah state parks and BLM land are great for finding last-minute or scenic dispersed camping.

What’s the best time of year for an RV trip in Utah?

Utah’s spring (April–June) and fall (September–October) are perfect for RV adventures: mild temps (60s–80s by day), wildflowers or golden aspens, and fewer crowds. Summer brings heat, especially in southern Utah (90s–100s), but higher elevations like Bryce Canyon remain cool. Winter is an incredible secret: think quiet, snowy canyons and hot springs, with daytime highs in the 30s–40s. For desert trips, avoid July and August afternoons, and always book campgrounds early during school breaks.

Is renting an RV in Utah a good choice for first-time RV drivers?

Utah is a top pick for first-time RV renters thanks to wide highways and straightforward rural roads. Every rental on RVezy includes a personalized orientation from your host, so you’ll learn how to operate and park your motorhome or travel trailer without stress. Still nervous? Go for a campervan rental in Utah: they drive just like a larger SUV. Delivery and setup are also popular for beginners. The RVezy Help Center is always there if you need support mid-trip.

What happens if I have a breakdown or need help during my Utah RV trip?

Every booking comes with 24/7 roadside assistance, whether you’re cruising through Salt Lake City or tackling the backroads near Capitol Reef. Locked out, flat tire, or engine trouble? Help is just a call away. Your RV rental in Utah also includes direct messaging with your host for quick troubleshooting. For emergencies, dial 911 or call the Utah Highway Patrol for roadside help on remote highways. With RVezy support on your side, your adventure is in safe hands.

Can I cross state lines with my Utah RV rental? What about traveling to nearby states?

Yes, you’re free to explore: most RV rentals in Utah allow interstate travel to Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, and Idaho. Just let your host know your route at booking to double-check specifics, especially if you’re planning a big RV road trip from Utah. Travel to Mexico isn’t permitted, but journeys into surrounding states add epic destinations like the Grand Canyon (6-hour drive) or Jackson, WY (5 hours). You’ll be protected by RVezy’s package wherever your journey goes in the United States.

How much fuel will I use on my Utah RV adventure and what’s the best way to budget?

Utah’s wide-open highways are perfect for RV trips! Expect average fuel efficiency of 8–13 miles per gallon for motorhomes and 14–17 mpg towing a trailer. Gas prices range from $3 to $4.50 per gallon, often cheapest in Salt Lake City. For cross-state trips: like the 550-mile loop covering Zion, Bryce, and Moab: expect to budget around $120–$200 for fuel. Fill up before desert stretches and use apps to find stations in rural Utah. Local tip: Sinclair stations are plentiful in small towns.

How far ahead should I book campgrounds for my Utah RV rental trip?

Booking campgrounds early is key for popular spots like Zion and Arches: reservations open six months in advance and fill up fast in peak spring and fall. Utah State Parks use reserveamerica.com for online bookings, and national parks use recreation.gov. For last-minute trips, explore BLM-managed campgrounds and first-come, first-serve options near Moab, Capitol Reef, or along scenic byways. Want full hookups? Look into Wahweap Desert View or Salt Lake City KOA for amenities and easy online reservations.

Are there any Utah-specific driving conditions I should know about in an RV?

Utah’s roads are built for adventure, but there are a few things to note: mountain passes can be steep (watch Highway 12 and I-70), and summer monsoon storms bring heavy rain and flash flooding especially near Moab and Zion. During winter, carry chains for the mountains and watch for icy spots. Always obey height clearances: especially on scenic byways and tunnels. Avoid rush hour in Salt Lake City and keep GPS handy for remote areas. Local tip: pull over at scenic overlooks along Highway 24!

What equipment and amenities do Utah campgrounds usually offer for RVs?

Most Utah campgrounds provide electric and water hookups, dump stations, picnic tables, and fire rings. National park campgrounds like Watchman (Zion) and Devils Garden (Arches) offer easy access to trails, while private parks: like Moab Valley RV Resort: often include showers, laundry, WiFi, and pool access. Need to refill water or dump tanks? Many towns have public facilities; just check city websites. Pro tip: For scenic sunrise views, reserve east-facing sites!

What amenities and features will I find in most Utah RV rentals?

You’ll find that most RV rentals in Utah come fully loaded: expect comfy beds, a kitchen with fridge/stove, bathroom with hot shower, air conditioning, plenty of storage, and seatbelts for safe family trips. Some motorhome rentals include TVs, WiFi hotspots, or onboard generators: check the listing for details. Planning dry camping? Ask about solar panels or upgraded batteries. Outdoor kitchens, awnings, and camp chairs are local favorites for red rock picnics.

What extra features or popular add-ons can I include with my Utah RV rental?

You can customize your Utah RV rental with awesome add-ons: kitchen kits, camp chairs, bedding, bike racks, or paddleboards are common options. Many hosts offer delivery and setup, early pickup or late dropoff for an extra fee, and generator rentals for off-grid camping. Rental listings always show exactly what’s included: message your host if you want to add anything. Looking for RV rental with unlimited mileage? Filter for that option for ultimate road trip freedom.

How do payments and security deposits work when booking an RV rental in Utah?

Booking your Utah RV rental is super straightforward: you’ll pay securely through RVezy, with your reservation confirmed instantly. A security deposit: typically $500 to $1,500, depending on the RV type: protects both you and the RV owner. It’s fully refundable after your trip if the RV returns clean and damage-free. Want to avoid surprises? Review your booking confirmation for deposit details, and ask questions before finalizing. RVezy keeps the process simple and transparent.
