2019 Keystone Micro Trailer
Brady was very responsive and accommodating. My being a newbie with RVs I had a lot of questions and Brady was very helpful and patient in answering and explaining things. The trailer was just the size I needed and had everything necessary and a few extras but not too many. I will definitely rent again from Brady.

This was our first time renting an RV or camper van of any type. Clark made the experience great. Everything was on point and Clark went above and beyond. The van was very well appointed, comfortable, and reliable. The bed was very comfortable and Clark was quick to respond to any requests before and during the trip. He has a passion for his van and to be able to rent it was a pleasure.

Brandon was great to work with, very communicative. The RV was nice, we had 3 adults and 2 dogs and it had ample room. It was nice to have all the cooking utensils and pans, bowls, accessories we needed. We had the RV delivered and this was great, to load up and leave for our trip. Well worth it. I would recommend this RV and plan to rent from Brandon again. .

We enjoyed this Van for a 3 night camp. It was super hot and thus the generator driven air conditioner was a life saver! It is fun and easy to drive. The instructional videos were very helpful and enabled us to use all of the features we needed. Pick up and drop off were easy. Sarah was great to work with, and was super responsive. We will rent this van again.

Rodrigo and Family were amazing! We came in to visit Family all the way from Australia and we’re looking for a reliable and reasonable Rv to rent to go to Yellowstone. The RV was super clean, easy to drive and well stocked with everything you need. We would highly recommend using them for any type of RV rental. Their communication skills were fantastic all the way through.

Super easy to work with, loved the little comfort touches in the van, very thorough instructions and help.

This RV was a joy to use. Jason was easy to communicate with and included a full guide for the truck with visuals for guidance. The projector for movie nights and expandable over head tarp for dinners made our evenings that much better. The only concern was that some dishes weren’t clean upon arrival, very minor and I’m sure by accident, but still happened. Two full water tanks were included which was great. The refrigerator works very well. The RV has outlets all over that keep the cars battery safe so no worries there. Overall my fiance and I highly recommend this RV and would totally get it again if in the area.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Murray, UT
How much does an RV rental in Murray, UT typically cost?
An RV rental in Murray is one of the more affordable ways to explore Utah's Wasatch Front. On RVezy, travel trailers around Murray generally start near $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes run roughly $175 to $275 per night, and larger Class A motorhomes sit in the $250 to $400 range, depending on age, size, and season. To find a cheap RV rental in Murray, book mid-week, target shoulder months like April or late September, and filter by Instant Book. Pro tip: hosts within 15 minutes of I-15 often offer the best value because they skip long delivery fees.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Murray%2C%20UtahWhat kind of driver's license do I need to rent an RV in Murray, UT?
A regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Murray. Utah does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or any special endorsement to drive personal-use motorhomes, campervans, or travel trailers. On RVezy, approved drivers are generally 25 or older and must upload a valid driver's license during the quick ID verification step. Visiting from outside the U.S.? Bring your home country license plus an International Driving Permit (IDP), which most national auto clubs issue for a small fee. That's the whole list, so you can focus on planning your Utah RV trip instead of paperwork.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsIs my Murray RV rental covered if something goes wrong on the road?
Yes. Every booking on RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can hit the road around Murray with real peace of mind. You choose your protection level (not the host) during checkout, so you can pick the plan that fits your comfort zone, and the plan provides meaningful financial protection for covered physical damage during your trip. If anything happens, from a flat tire on I-215 to a hiccup in Big Cottonwood Canyon, one call connects you to help. That's a big reason first-timers feel confident booking an RV rental in Murray.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat happens if I need to cancel my Murray RV rental?
Booking is low-risk: RVezy sets the cancellation policy for every reservation, including a money-back grace period right after you book. That means you can lock in your dates for a Murray RV trip without sweating life's surprises. After the grace period, refund eligibility depends on how far out your trip is. Because RVezy (not individual hosts) manages cancellations, the rules are consistent across every listing you browse, and the cancellation terms are not displayed in individual listings. Pro tip: if a Utah snowstorm or canyon closure threatens your trip, contact RVezy support early. They'll walk you through your options so you can rebook with confidence.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on an RV rental in Murray, UT?
Yes, a pet-friendly RV rental in Murray is easy to find. Toggle the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy and you'll see listings from hosts who welcome dogs (and sometimes cats). Once you're here, your pup will love trails at Wheeler Historic Farm right in Murray, off-leash time at Tanner Park, and walks along the Jordan River Parkway Trail. Heads up: Utah State Parks have specific pet rules, so review them before your trip and plan stops accordingly. Message the host before booking if you have a large breed or multiple pets so everyone starts the trip on the same page.
stateparks.utah.gov/resources/policies-and-park-rules/Can the RV be delivered to me in Murray or to a nearby campground?
Yes, RV delivery is one of the most popular options on RVezy in Murray. Many local hosts will deliver and set up the RV at your driveway, the Salt Lake City KOA Holiday on North Temple, or popular spots like Spruces Campground in Big Cottonwood Canyon and Wasatch Mountain State Park. Delivery is a game-changer if it's your first time renting an RV, because the host levels the rig, hooks up power and water, and walks you through every system before they leave. Use the Delivery filter when searching, enter your destination, and you'll see distance-based fees up front. Pro tip: trailers delivered to a campsite keep your tow vehicle free for grocery runs and trailhead trips.
koa.com/campgrounds/salt-lake-city/How far can I drive on my Murray RV rental, and is unlimited mileage available?
You've got options. Hosts on RVezy set their own mileage policies, and many Murray-area listings offer generous daily allowances or even RV rental with unlimited mileage, which is perfect for road-tripping Utah's Mighty 5. From Murray you're roughly 4 hours to Arches National Park (about 235 miles), 4.5 hours to Zion (about 310 miles), 3.5 hours to Capitol Reef (about 220 miles), and just 35 miles to Park City for a quick mountain escape. Mileage allowances and per-mile overage rates are clearly listed on every RV page before you book. Pro tip: if you're planning a big loop, message the host with your itinerary and they'll often suggest a custom mileage package.
nps.gov/state/ut/index.htmWhere are the best campgrounds near Murray, UT to take my RV?
You're spoiled for choice. Just minutes from Murray, the Salt Lake City KOA Holiday on North Temple offers 180 full-hookup sites year-round and easy I-15 access. Up Big Cottonwood Canyon, Spruces Campground sits at 7,400 feet under huge pines (open late May through mid-October), while Tanners Flat in Little Cottonwood is a classic alpine escape. For full hookups with mountain views, Pony Express RV Resort in North Salt Lake is a local favorite, and Mountain Shadows RV Park in Draper handles big rigs with ease. Heading east? Pine Creek Campground at Wasatch Mountain State Park has 55 full-hookup sites and stays open all year. Book early for summer weekends, especially in the canyons.
stateparks.utah.gov/parks/wasatch-mountain/When is the best time of year for RV camping in Murray, UT?
Murray is a four-season playground, but the sweet spot for RV camping in Murray runs from mid-May through mid-October, when valley highs typically sit in the 70s to low 90s F and canyon campgrounds are fully open. July and August are peak summer (and peak Mighty 5 road-trip season), while September brings golden aspens in Big Cottonwood Canyon and cooler nights perfect for campfires. Spring shoulder season (April to early May) offers lower RV rental pricing and wildflower hikes. Winter is magical too: Murray sits about 30 to 45 minutes from Brighton and Solitude ski resorts, and several local hosts offer winterized rigs. Pro tip: book canyon and state park sites the moment the reservation window opens.
forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=40.66&lon=-111.89I've never driven an RV before. Will I be okay renting one in Murray?
Yes, and you're in good hands. Every RVezy host provides a full walkthrough at pickup or delivery covering driving, leveling, slide-outs, water, propane, and dumping, so you're never figuring it out alone. For a first time renting an RV, most Murray travelers start with a Class C motorhome or a 20 to 25 foot travel trailer, which drives a lot like a large SUV. Murray's grid streets and easy I-15 and I-215 access make practicing comfortable, and I-215 lets you bypass downtown Salt Lake entirely. Pro tip: take a short shakedown loop to Wheeler Historic Farm or Murray City Park before pointing the rig toward the canyons. By day two, you'll feel like a pro.
udot.utah.gov/What if I break down or have an issue during my Murray RV trip?
You're covered. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan, so help is one phone call away whether you're parked in Murray or climbing toward Guardsman Pass. The service handles common issues like flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, towing, and fuel delivery. If something with the RV itself isn't working, RVezy's customer support team is also available before, during, and after your trip to help coordinate with your host. Pro tip: save the roadside number in your phone before pickup, and snap a quick photo of the rig's VIN and license plate. You probably won't need it on a Murray RV trip, but it's nice to have.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailCan I take my Murray RV rental across state lines or into Canada?
Yes, an RV road trip from Murray is one of the best ways to see the American West, and most hosts welcome interstate travel across the lower 48. Popular routes include Murray to Yellowstone (about 320 miles north via I-15), Murray to Grand Teton (about 290 miles), Murray to Moab and Arches (about 235 miles southeast), and Murray to Jackson Hole (about 280 miles). Canada trips depend on the host and their coverage, so message the host directly from the listing to confirm before booking. One firm rule: travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance and protection do not extend across that border. Within the U.S., though, the open road is yours.
nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/directions.htmWhat should I budget for fuel on a Murray RV trip?
Fuel is the second-biggest line item after the rental itself, but it's easy to plan for. Class C motorhomes around Murray average 8 to 12 miles per gallon (MPG), Class A rigs run 6 to 10 MPG, and campervans (Class B) often hit 15 to 20 MPG. Travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle, but expect 10 to 14 MPG combined. Utah gas prices typically run close to the national average, with plenty of stations along State Street, 5300 South, and I-15 in Murray itself. For a 500-mile round trip to Moab in a Class C, budget roughly $180 to $250 in fuel. Pro tip: warehouse club fuel stations in the Salt Lake Valley often have the lowest diesel and gas prices.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book a campground near Murray?
Plan ahead and you'll get the prime spots. Utah State Parks (Wasatch Mountain, Jordanelle, Deer Creek, Antelope Island) open individual campsite reservations on a rolling window through their official reservation system, and popular weekends sell out the day the window opens. National Forest campgrounds in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons (Spruces, Tanners Flat) can be booked up to 6 months out on Recreation.gov, especially for July and August. Private parks like Salt Lake City KOA usually have more last-minute flexibility. Pro tip: for a holiday weekend RV camping trip in Murray, set a calendar reminder for the day the reservation window opens and book at 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time.
recreation.gov/What are driving conditions like around Murray and the Wasatch Front?
Murray is one of the easier metro areas to drive an RV in. I-15 and I-215 surround the city with wide lanes and gentle grades, and 5300 South and State Street give you easy local access without tight downtown turns. Heads up on a few things: Big Cottonwood and Little Cottonwood Canyons have steep grades and tight switchbacks, so larger Class A rigs should stick to the canyon mouths or use a tow car for upper trailheads. Watch for sudden afternoon thunderstorms in summer and snow from November through April, when canyon roads sometimes require traction laws. Check UDOT for current road conditions before heading into the canyons.
udot.utah.gov/connect/public/road-conditions/What amenities can I expect at campgrounds near Murray?
Campgrounds around Murray run the full range. Private parks like Salt Lake City KOA typically offer full hookups (water, electric, sewer), Wi-Fi, laundry, hot showers, and on-site dump stations. Utah State Parks like Wasatch Mountain feature full-hookup sites plus showers and a dump station. National Forest campgrounds in the canyons (Spruces, Tanners Flat) are more rustic, usually offering vault toilets, drinking water spigots, and fire rings, but no hookups. Need to dump tanks or top off water before heading home? The Salt Lake City KOA on North Temple offers a public dump and fill station for a small fee, just minutes from Murray.
stateparks.utah.gov/parks/wasatch-mountain/What's typically included inside an RV rental in Murray, UT?
More than you might think. A typical motorhome rental in Murray comes fully equipped with sleeping for 4 to 8, a kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, sink), a bathroom with toilet and shower, dining area, climate control (AC and furnace), and seatbelted seating for travel. Most listings include linens, kitchenware, and basic camping gear, and many offer extras like outdoor chairs, a generator for boondocking near Antelope Island, Wi-Fi hotspots, or a TV. Trailers and fifth wheels offer the same comforts minus the cab. Each listing's amenity checklist on RVezy spells out exactly what's onboard. Pro tip: filter by Sleeps count to match your group size, and message the host if you want a specific add-on like bikes or a kayak rack.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Murray%2C%20UtahWhat add-ons and pickup options are available for my Murray RV rental?
Hosts on RVezy customize the experience with add-ons like generators, bike racks, camping chairs, outdoor grills, propane refills, linen packages, and Wi-Fi kits, each with a clear flat fee. Pickup logistics are flexible: meet at the host's location (often within 10 to 20 minutes of Murray via I-15 or I-215), or choose delivery to your campsite, home, or near Salt Lake City International Airport (about 12 miles north). Mileage policies vary by listing, with many showing 100 to 150 free miles per day, larger packages, or unlimited mileage on select rigs. Everything is shown on the listing before you book. Pro tip: bundling delivery with a generator makes off-grid trips to Antelope Island State Park effortless.
stateparks.utah.gov/parks/antelope-island/How does the security deposit and payment work on an RVezy booking in Murray?
Payment is straightforward and secure. You pay through the RVezy platform with a major credit or debit card, never directly to the host, which protects you start to finish. A refundable security deposit is held separately from your booking payment before your trip starts and released after a smooth return. Choosing a higher protection tier can lower your out-of-pocket risk if something happens. To avoid hiccups: complete the inspection checklist with your host at pickup and dropoff, document any pre-existing scratches with photos, and return the rig with the agreed fuel and tank levels. That's it: your Utah RV trip starts hassle-free.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksCan I rent a winter-ready RV in Murray for ski trips?
Yes, and it's one of Murray's best-kept secrets. Murray sits roughly 30 to 60 minutes from Brighton, Solitude, Alta, Snowbird, Park City, and Deer Valley, and many local hosts offer winterized RVs with heated holding tanks, enclosed underbellies, extra insulation, and 30-amp or 50-amp shore power hookups for cold-weather camping. Several Salt Lake Valley RV parks and the Salt Lake City KOA stay open year-round with full hookups, so you can plug in, crank the furnace, and ski every day. Use the RVezy search filters to find rigs suited for winter use, and message the host to confirm tank heaters are active. Pro tip: park at a full-hookup site rather than boondocking when temps drop below 20 F.
