2019 Keystone Micro Trailer
Brady was very responsive and accommodating. My being a newbie with RVs I had a lot of questions and Brady was very helpful and patient in answering and explaining things. The trailer was just the size I needed and had everything necessary and a few extras but not too many. I will definitely rent again from Brady.

2022 Class B
This was our first time renting an RV or camper van of any type. Clark made the experience great. Everything was on point and Clark went above and beyond. The van was very well appointed, comfortable, and reliable. The bed was very comfortable and Clark was quick to respond to any requests before and during the trip. He has a passion for his van and to be able to rent it was a pleasure.

We enjoyed this Van for a 3 night camp. It was super hot and thus the generator driven air conditioner was a life saver! It is fun and easy to drive. The instructional videos were very helpful and enabled us to use all of the features we needed. Pick up and drop off were easy. Sarah was great to work with, and was super responsive. We will rent this van again.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in West Haven, UT
How much does an RV rental in West Haven, UT actually cost?
Renting an RV in West Haven is more affordable than most travelers expect. On RVezy, travel trailers near West Haven typically start around $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes generally run $175 to $275, and larger Class A rigs sit at $250 and up. Because hosts set their own pricing, you can filter by budget and find a cheap RV rental in West Haven that still has everything you need. Booking midweek (Sunday to Thursday) and traveling in shoulder season (April or late September) is one of the easiest ways to save compared to peak July weekends near Pineview Reservoir. Pro tip: filter for Instant Book to lock in the best-priced rigs before Ogden Valley weekend crowds scoop them up.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=West%20Haven%2C%20UtahWhat kind of driver's license do I need to rent an RV in West Haven, UT?
Good news: your regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in West Haven. Utah does not require a commercial driver's license (CDL) or any special endorsement for standard motorhomes and travel trailers rented on RVezy, including Class A, Class B campervans, Class C, and fifth wheels under typical weight limits. RVezy approved drivers are generally required to be at least 25 years old, and your ID is verified right inside the platform during booking, so there is no extra paperwork at pickup. Visiting from outside the US? Bring your home country license plus an International Driving Permit and you're set. Most first-timers are pleasantly surprised at how quickly they're cleared to hit I-15 toward the Wasatch.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsIs my RV rental in West Haven, UT protected if something goes wrong?
Yes, every RV rental in West Haven booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance. The protection plan helps cover damage to the RV during your trip, so you can drive toward Antelope Island or Snowbasin with real peace of mind. During checkout, you choose the level of coverage that fits your trip, ranging from a basic plan to more comprehensive options with lower out-of-pocket responsibility. Paired with around-the-clock roadside support, it provides meaningful financial protection on the road. Pro tip: if you're first time renting an RV, picking a higher-tier protection plan adds just a few dollars per day and lets you fully relax on those mountain drives.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat happens if I need to cancel my West Haven RV trip?
Booking is low-risk because RVezy, not the host, manages cancellations through a clear platform-wide policy. Every reservation includes a money-back grace period right after booking, so if your plans for a West Haven RV trip change quickly, you're covered. After that, your refund depends on how far in advance you cancel, and there are additional protections if a host cancels on you. Because the policy is handled by RVezy directly, you'll see the full details on your booking page rather than having to negotiate with individual owners. Pro tip: book early to lock in your dates, then watch the Pineview Reservoir forecast as your trip approaches with confidence.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in West Haven, UT?
Absolutely, pet-friendly RV rental in West Haven options are easy to find on RVezy. Just toggle the Pet-Friendly filter and you'll see motorhomes and travel trailers whose hosts welcome dogs (and sometimes cats). Once you're rolling, your pup will love the area: Fort Buenaventura Park in Ogden allows leashed dogs, the Ogden River Parkway is dog-friendly, and many trails around Pineview Reservoir permit leashed pets. Antelope Island State Park also allows leashed dogs in designated areas. Pro tip: message the host before booking to confirm any pet fee (often $10 to $25 per night) and ask about their favorite Ogden Valley dog hikes.
stateparks.utah.gov/parks/antelope-island/Can the RV be delivered to my campsite instead of me picking it up?
Yes, RV delivery in West Haven is one of the most popular options on RVezy, especially for first-timers who'd rather skip towing or driving a big rig. Many hosts deliver and set up directly at nearby campgrounds like Century RV Park in Ogden, Cherry Hill in Kaysville, or campsites at Pineview Reservoir, then walk you through every system before they leave. Delivery fees are set by each host and usually depend on distance from West Haven, with some hosts offering free delivery within a set radius. Pro tip: filter listings by Delivery, then message hosts with your campground name. Having your motorhome rental in West Haven already leveled and hooked up when you arrive turns day one into pure vacation.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=West%20Haven%2C%20UtahHow many miles can I drive on my West Haven RV rental?
Each host sets their own mileage policy, and you'll see it clearly on the listing before you book. Many West Haven hosts include a generous nightly mileage allowance, and some advertise an RV rental with unlimited mileage, which is great for longer loops. To help you plan, here are approximate driving distances from West Haven: Antelope Island (about 25 miles), Snowbasin Resort (about 25 miles), Bear Lake (about 95 miles), Salt Lake City (about 40 miles), Yellowstone's west entrance (about 300 miles), and Grand Teton (about 280 miles). Pro tip: if you're eyeing a big loop like Bear Lake plus Logan Canyon, filter for unlimited-mileage listings or message the host about extra-mile rates up front.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=West%20Haven%2C%20UtahWhere are the best campgrounds near West Haven, UT?
You've got some excellent options for RV camping in West Haven within a short drive. Century RV Park in Ogden (about 6 miles) offers full hookups and pull-throughs ideal for big rigs. Cherry Hill Camping Resort in Kaysville (about 20 miles south) is a family favorite with a waterpark on site. Anderson Cove Campground at Pineview Reservoir (about 18 miles) is a U.S. Forest Service campground with lakefront sites. Antelope Island's Bridger Bay Campground (about 35 miles) delivers epic Great Salt Lake sunsets. Pro tip: book Anderson Cove on Recreation.gov up to six months ahead for summer weekends. The best campgrounds near West Haven sell out fast once school lets out.
recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/234082When is the best time of year for an RV trip from West Haven, UT?
West Haven shines from late April through mid-October, with the sweet spot being June, September, and early October when daytime highs sit in the comfortable 70s to mid-80s and Wasatch wildflowers or fall colors are at their peak. July and August are hot (frequently 90 to 95F) and busy at Pineview Reservoir, while shoulder seasons mean better rates and more available campsites. Winter RVing is doable too: hosts with four-season rigs (heated tanks, propane furnace) make Snowbasin and Powder Mountain ski trips easy. Pro tip: aim for the second or third week of September. Mountain mornings are crisp, Ogden Valley aspens are turning gold, and most summer crowds have already packed up.
weather.gov/slc/I'm a first-timer. Will I actually know how to use the RV?
Yes, and that's one of the best parts of booking on RVezy: every host gives you a hands-on orientation at pickup (or at delivery) covering driving, leveling, slide-outs, water, propane, generator, and dumping. You'll never be handed keys and left guessing. Many West Haven hosts also send a short video walkthrough ahead of time so the systems feel familiar before you even arrive. If a question comes up mid-trip, just message your host straight from the app, and RVezy's support team is available to help. Pro tip: take your first night close to home at Century RV Park in Ogden. It's a quick shakedown trip that builds confidence before heading into the canyons.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsWhat if I break down or have trouble on the road?
You're never on your own. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, so a flat tire on I-84 heading to Snowbasin or a battery hiccup at Causey Reservoir is just one phone call away. The roadside team coordinates tows, jump-starts, lockouts, tire service, and fuel delivery throughout Utah. Your host is also a great first text for quick fixes like resetting the inverter or relighting the water heater. Pro tip: before leaving West Haven, save the roadside number from your RVezy confirmation and your host's phone number to favorites. Cell service is solid along I-15 but spotty in upper Ogden Canyon and around Monte Cristo.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat are the best RV road trip routes from West Haven, UT?
West Haven's location at the foot of the Wasatch makes it a launchpad for incredible loops. Top picks for an RV road trip from West Haven: the Mighty 5 loop through Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce, and Zion (roughly 1,200 miles round trip); the Yellowstone and Grand Teton run via Idaho Falls (about 300 miles each way); Bear Lake's turquoise waters through Logan Canyon (about 95 miles); and Flaming Gorge via the Mirror Lake Highway (about 175 miles). Cross-state travel into Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, and Arizona is commonly allowed on RVezy bookings; Mexico is not permitted. Pro tip: confirm out-of-state travel in your host's listing description, and ask about extra mileage packages if you're tackling the Mighty 5.
nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/index.htmHow much will fuel cost on my West Haven RV trip?
Fuel is usually the biggest variable, but it's easy to budget. Utah gas prices typically run near the national average, with diesel slightly higher than regular. A Class C motorhome averages 8 to 10 miles per gallon (MPG), travel trailers towed behind a truck get 10 to 14 MPG, and campervans (Class B) often hit 16 to 20 MPG. For a 4-day, 400-mile loop through Ogden Valley and Bear Lake in a Class C, plan a fuel budget of roughly $150 to $200 depending on current prices. Costco in Bountiful and Maverik in West Haven are usually among the cheaper options nearby. Pro tip: fill up before climbing into Ogden Canyon. Prices tend to jump once you're up in Huntsville or Eden.
gasprices.aaa.com/state-gas-price-averages/How far in advance should I book a campground near West Haven, UT?
For the best campgrounds near West Haven, plan to book the moment your dates are firm. National Forest sites like Anderson Cove and Magpie at Pineview Reservoir open on Recreation.gov six months in advance and fill within minutes for summer weekends and holidays. Utah State Parks campgrounds like Antelope Island's Bridger Bay and Willard Bay book through the Utah State Parks reservation portal, also several months ahead. Private parks like Century RV Park and Cherry Hill are easier to grab a few weeks out. Pro tip: set a calendar reminder exactly six months before your target Saturday at 8 a.m. Mountain Time. That's when Anderson Cove's lakefront loops open, and they're worth the alarm clock.
recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/234082What are the local driving conditions like around West Haven?
Driving an RV around West Haven is very manageable. I-15 and US-89 are wide, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, while State Route 39 up Ogden Canyon to Pineview is curvier with a few tighter switchbacks above Causey, where you'll want to take it slow in anything over 30 feet. Snow tires or chains are wise from November through March if you're heading to Snowbasin or Powder Mountain. Watch for deer at dawn and dusk along Trappers Loop (SR-167) and afternoon thunderstorms in July and August that can drop hail in the valley. Pro tip: avoid I-15 southbound through Salt Lake between 4 and 6 p.m. on weekdays. Leaving West Haven by 2 p.m. or after 7 p.m. saves real time.
udot.utah.gov/connect/public/traffic-conditions/What hookups and amenities will I find at campgrounds near West Haven?
Local campgrounds offer a great mix. Private parks like Century RV Park in Ogden and Cherry Hill in Kaysville have full hookups (water, 30/50-amp electric, sewer), Wi-Fi, laundry, and dump stations. U.S. Forest Service sites at Anderson Cove and Magpie offer water spigots and vault or flush toilets but no hookups, so you'll rely on your fresh tank and generator (where allowed). For dumping and filling between trips, the dump station at Willard Bay State Park (about 15 miles north) is a convenient stop. Pro tip: top off fresh water before heading into the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Many backcountry-feeling sites are dry, and you'll want a full tank for a multi-day stay.
fs.usda.gov/uwcnfWhat's actually inside the RVs on RVezy in West Haven?
You'll be impressed. Most West Haven listings, whether a cozy campervan rental in West Haven or a 32-foot Class C motorhome, come stocked with real beds (queen or king plus bunks in many family rigs), a full kitchen with fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, and sink, an indoor bathroom with shower and toilet, climate control via roof AC and propane furnace, and seatbelted seating for everyone traveling. Many hosts include a TV, Bluetooth stereo, outdoor awning, and onboard generator for off-grid trips to Causey or the Uintas. Wi-Fi varies, so check the listing's amenities tab. Pro tip: if you want to stream around the campfire, look for listings advertising a mobile hotspot or Starlink. A handful of West Haven hosts now include it.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=West%20Haven%2C%20UtahWhat add-ons can I get with my West Haven RV rental?
Hosts offer a range of useful extras that make pickup easier. Common West Haven add-ons include kitchen kits, bedding and linen packages, camp chairs and tables, bike racks, portable BBQs, generators, and even paddleboards perfect for Pineview Reservoir. Many hosts also offer delivery and setup, propane top-offs, and dump/clean services so you can return the rig hassle-free. Pickup is usually at the host's West Haven location, with a 30 to 60 minute walkthrough. Mileage policies and pet fees are listed up front on every listing. Pro tip: bundle the bedding kit plus a generator add-on if you're heading to a non-hookup Forest Service site. It's the easiest way to skip a last-minute store run.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=West%20Haven%2C%20UtahHow does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?
Payment is simple and fully handled inside RVezy, so you never hand cash or a check to the host. You'll pay your trip total by credit card at booking, and a refundable security deposit is pre-authorized on your card before pickup as a hold, not a charge. As long as you return the RV in similar condition with the agreed fuel, mileage, and cleanliness, the hold is released after your trip ends. Pro tip: at pickup and drop-off in West Haven, take a quick video walk-around of the exterior, interior, and odometer with timestamps. It takes 90 seconds and makes any post-trip questions a breeze to resolve.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksCan I take my West Haven RV rental skiing in winter?
Yes, and it's a hidden gem of the area. West Haven sits roughly 20 to 35 minutes from Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley, making winter RV trips a fun, affordable alternative to ski lodges. Look for four-season RVs on RVezy with heated holding tanks, enclosed underbellies, and a strong propane furnace. Cherry Hill and Century RV Park typically offer winter availability with shore power so you can plug in and stay toasty when overnight lows dip into the teens or single digits. Snow tires or chains are smart for Trappers Loop and SR-39. Pro tip: message the host to confirm winterization and ask if they include a heated water hose. It's the small detail that makes a January RV ski week genuinely comfortable.
