How to get to Hyrum State Park

The park sits on the south edge of the town of Hyrum, about 8 miles south of Logan via US-89 and SR-165, roughly a 90-minute drive (about 80 miles) from Salt Lake City via I-15 and US-89 through Sardine Canyon. RVers driving from the south should be ready for the climb and descent on US-89 between Brigham City and Wellsville, a steep grade with truck-warning signs that requires low gear for heavy rigs. Roads into the park are paved and suitable for large RVs, with no tunnels or weight-restricted bridges on the main approach. The closest commercial airport for fly-and-rent travelers is Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), about 90 miles to the southwest.
