Late June through early September offers the warmest, driest weather and the most reliable beach and boating conditions, with daytime highs typically in the 70s F. May, early June, and September are quieter shoulder-season options with mild days and cool nights, ideal for RVers who want lower campground occupancy. Winter visits are possible but wet and cool, with frequent rain and limited services. Summer weekends fill quickly, so midweek arrivals are best for securing a site.

The park's gravel and cobble shoreline along Case Inlet is open for walking, beachcombing, and tide pooling at low tide. The beach is easily reached from the day-use area and campground.
A single-lane boat ramp and a fishing and moorage pier provide direct access to south Puget Sound. Anglers target salmon, flounder, and other saltwater species when seasons are open.
Sheltered Case Inlet is popular with paddlers launching from the park's beach. Calm mornings are best, as afternoon winds can pick up in summer.
The park's tidelands support recreational shellfish harvest when state seasons are open. A current Washington shellfish or combination fishing license is required.
Waterfront picnic tables, grills, and open lawn areas make the park a popular day stop for families. A Discover Pass is required for day-use parking.
Great blue herons, kingfishers, bald eagles, harbor seals, and a variety of waterfowl frequent the shoreline. The quiet cove is especially good for birding at dawn and dusk.
Penrose Point State Park is a short drive away on the Key Peninsula and offers additional hiking trails, saltwater shoreline, and a dump station useful to RV campers.
We had such a great weekend camping in the Memory Maker! Danielle has thought of everything when it comes to making life easy while you are โroughing itโ. We felt cozy and comfortable sleeping as a family of 5. It was easy to pull behind our Tahoe as well. Great experience all around, we already have our next trip booked!

Danielle is a great host! The trailer was wonderfully laid out and perfect for a family of four. It was very clean and everything worked perfectly! Our family had a great time and would definitely rent from Danielle again!

Michaelโs RV was excellent. His communication was prompt and clear. The RV is in good shape, drove easily, and was very clean. The snacks and coffee were appreciated and the airport pickup and drop off was incredibly smooth. Iโd definitely rent from Michael again on my next trip to Seattle.

Joemma Beach State Park, WA, United States
From Tacoma, the park is roughly 35 miles southwest, about an hour's drive via SR 16, the Purdy Bridge, and SR 302 onto the Key Peninsula Highway. From Olympia it is about 40 miles, or roughly an hour and fifteen minutes. The final miles follow narrow, winding rural roads with tight turns, low tree branches in places, and a short gravel approach to the campground, so large Class A motorhomes and long fifth wheels should drive cautiously and check turnaround space. The nearest major airport for fly-and-rent trips is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), about 50 miles northeast.
