A network of short wooded trails winds through the park's oak-hickory forest and along Kentucky Lake shoreline. Routes are generally easy to moderate and suitable for casual hikers. Trailheads are accessible from the lodge and campground areas.
The park operates a nine-hole golf course open to the public from spring through fall. Rolling fairways and lake views make it a popular stop for traveling golfers. Parking near the pro shop can accommodate tow vehicles.
Just across the Eggners Ferry Bridge, Land Between the Lakes offers more than 170,000 acres of forest, a bison and elk prairie, the Woodlands Nature Station, and the Homeplace 1850s living history farm. Many visitor sites have designated RV parking. It is one of the largest public recreation areas in the region.
Kentucky Lake is nationally known for crappie and largemouth bass fishing. Anglers can fish from the marina, the shoreline, or by boat. Licenses are required and available online from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Kenlake State Park, KY, United States
The park sits along US 68 near Aurora, Kentucky, about 35 miles east of Paducah and roughly 45 minutes from Interstate 24 at Exit 65. Louisville is about a 3.5 to 4 hour drive northeast, and Nashville is roughly 2 hours south. RVers should note the Eggners Ferry Bridge on US 68 crossing Kentucky Lake, which has standard highway lanes but can feel narrow for wide rigs, and should watch for rolling grades on the approaches. The nearest commercial airport for fly-and-rent trips is Nashville International Airport (BNA).
