A scenic 1.2-kilometer hiking trail that follows the shoreline of Lake Simcoe. The trail passes through a lush hardwood swamp, a boardwalk section, and culminates at a lookout point offering sunset views over the lake.
A designated sandy swimming area on Lake Simcoe's shore provides access for swimmers during warm months. The beach is a focal point of day-use and camping activities, with water temperatures reaching 20 degrees Celsius during July and August.
The park features a boat launch facility suitable for small vessels and paddling. Lake Simcoe offers access to the Trent Severn Waterway for exploration and recreation. Three docks provide convenient mooring.
Lake Simcoe supports diverse fish species including yellow perch, lake trout, smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and whitefish. The lake is popular with both recreational and experienced anglers.
Park roads are open to cyclists, providing a network for exploration of the peninsula landscape and access to various recreational areas within the 137-hectare property.
The park is home to 79 bird species, including Yellow-throated Vireos and Pileated Woodpeckers. The mix of hardwood forest, wetlands, and lakeside habitat makes it an attractive destination for birdwatchers.
Allan and Melissa were great to deal with. Allan took time to explain everything about the trailer and was very responsive to all communication.

The RV was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The process of having the RV delivered was amazing as all we had to do was show up and it was already set up for us. Thank you!

The trailer was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved having their own bunks and the space was just big enough for all of us. It was a great value, and JD was very helpful before and after, setting up the trailer for us, providing everything we could need, and packing it up after. We have no complaints and would definitely rent from JD again!
