The park offers 80+ kilometers of trails ranging from easy family walks to strenuous mountain hikes. Popular summit routes include Mont-Orford via various trailheads and Mont-Chauve, with panoramic views of the Eastern Townships and surrounding lakes.
Both lakes offer supervised beaches, picnic areas, and equipment rentals. Visitors can canoe, kayak, paddleboard, or swim during summer months. The lakes are accessible directly from the campgrounds with parking available.
An extensive network of cycling paths winds through the park and connects to regional trail systems. Routes range from easy recreational paths to more challenging mountain biking trails suitable for various skill levels.
The park features rock climbing opportunities on natural rock faces at Pic aux Corbeaux, a well-established sport climbing destination with routes ranging from beginner to advanced (5.5 to 5.13 grades). A 1,100-meter approach path leads to the climbing area.
Winter brings 50+ kilometers of classic cross-country skiing trails and 26+ kilometers of skate-ski trails. Snowshoeing is available throughout the park on designated routes, offering quiet exploration of snowy landscapes.
The protected forests and mountain habitats support diverse wildlife including white-tailed deer and Great Blue Herons. Early morning and dusk offer the best opportunities for observing wildlife along quieter trails.
