Shoulder months of May, early June and September bring cooler nights, thinner crowds and still-accessible Pinantan Road. Winter visits are limited to snowshoeing and cross-country skiing with no winter facilities provided.

This is our 3rd year in a row, renting from Steve now, and as per usual, the experience was fantastic! If you are aren't sure, I can tell you that you don't need to worry, Steve is definitely your guy. We will rent from him as long as he is renting his trailer out on this platform. See you again next year, Steve! ☺️

How to get to Paul Lake Provincial Park

From Highway 5, about 5 km north of Kamloops, take the paved Pinantan Road east for 19 km to the campground on the north side of Paul Lake. Kamloops sits roughly 25 km (30 minutes) west, Vancouver is about 360 km (4.5 hours) southwest via the Coquihalla, and Calgary is roughly 610 km (7 hours) east via Highway 1. Pinantan Road is paved but narrow and winding with some grades, so large RVs should drive at reduced speed and watch for oncoming traffic. The nearest airport for fly-and-rent trips is Kamloops Airport (YKA).
