The park is about a 10 to 15 minute drive from Lafayette and West Lafayette, Indiana, roughly 65 miles northwest of Indianapolis via I-65 (about 1 hour 15 minutes) and about 125 miles southeast of Chicago (about 2 hours 30 minutes). Access is from Swisher Road off Ninth Street Road, with wide, flat approach routes that suit large rigs and towables without significant grades or tunnels. The nearest commercial airport for fly-and-rent travelers is Indianapolis International Airport (IND), with Chicago airports also within reach. RVers should watch for standard county-road weight limits on secondary routes and plan fuel stops in Lafayette before the final approach.
