Turkey Run's signature canyon trails lead through narrow sandstone gorges, ladders, and stream crossings that are unlike anything else in Indiana. Trails 3, 5, and 10 are rated rugged or very rugged and often involve wading; sturdy footwear is required.
The park's suspension footbridge is an iconic crossing that links the main trailhead area to trails on the north side of Sugar Creek. It is an easy walk and a favorite photo stop for first time visitors.
Sugar Creek is one of Indiana's premier paddling streams, flowing past sandstone cliffs and wooded bluffs. Local liveries offer shuttles and rentals for trips that pass through the park.
The park's nature center offers exhibits on local geology, wildlife, and the history of Indiana's state park system, which began with McCormick's Creek and Turkey Run. The nearby Lieber Cabin honors the founder of the state park system.
The historic Narrows Covered Bridge spans Sugar Creek just outside the park and is one of the most photographed bridges in Parke County. Day use parking is available near the bridge for a short walk and photo stop.
Turkey Run offers guided trail rides from its saddle barn on designated bridle trails through the wooded uplands of the park. Rides are seasonal and generally run from spring through fall.
Trail 1 is a moderate hike from the inn area that leads along the bluff above Sugar Creek to Sunset Point, offering a scenic overlook. It is a good introductory hike for families before tackling the canyon trails.
Richard was very responsive to any questions that I had prior to picking unit up. Trailer was very clean and still looks like new inside. Had all the basic necessities both inside and out to ensure easy set-up. Would highly recommend this unit if you are camping in Indy area. Donnie Luce-CA

I had a great vacation and the ease of renting the camper made it so much better than staying in a hotel. Richard made it an easy transaction and was there if I needed any help. The camper was accommodating, very clean and comfortable to sleep in. I won't hesitate to do this again in the future and look forward to having another fulfilled adventure.

Iva was wonderful to work with! She made our experience so fabulous! I needed an RV because I was going to be running 100 mile race and I wanted a place where my family could stay comfortably while I ran! Mission accomplished! I was super nervous the day leading up to my race and that was also the day the RV was arriving. She made my experience so easy. Her timeliness, the cleanliness of her RV, all the perks that it has, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect RV in person to rent from! If you’ve never rented an RV before, please know that Ivan makes this experience absolutely wonderful! Not to mention her RV has the most wonderful features!
