Late spring through early fall, roughly May to September, offers the most comfortable weather for combining a museum visit with outdoor attractions in the Uinta Basin. Summer is peak season with warm, dry days ideal for pairing the museum with trips to Dinosaur National Monument. Shoulder months like April and October bring cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, and easier RV parking in downtown Vernal.
