Hike the scenic 2.7 km Outaouais Trail along the shoreline of Iroquois Bay on the Ottawa River. The waterfront path features interpretive plaques highlighting the park's natural and cultural heritage. Explore the calm, wide section of the Ottawa River reservoir by boat or canoe. The park features two boat launches: one at Champlain Campground for smaller vessels and a second at Iroquois/Portage for larger watercraft. Voyageur Provincial Park is located approximately 118 km east of Ottawa and one hour from Montreal. From Ottawa, take Highway 417 East towards Quebec, which connects to the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 20) further east. The nearest major airport is Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport, about 90 minutes' drive away for fly-and-rent options. The park is situated along the Ottawa River between Ottawa and Montreal, making it an ideal midpoint for RV travellers planning longer journeys. Road access is excellent year-round on major highways; verify winter driving conditions with the park from mid-December to mid-March.
