The park entrance is near Almelund, Minnesota, about 55 miles (roughly one hour and fifteen minutes) northeast of Minneapolis-Saint Paul via I-35 and Minnesota Highway 95. Access roads are paved two-lane highways with no tunnels, low bridges, or steep mountain grades, making the drive straightforward for any RV class.
