Wilson State Park is reached via Exit 206 off Interstate 70, then about 8 miles north on K-232 to the Hell Creek and Otoe areas. Salina lies roughly 60 miles east (about an hour) and Hays sits about 50 miles west, making it an easy stop for cross-country RV trips. The access roads are paved two-lane highways with no tunnels, low bridges, or significant grades, so large RVs and towables can reach the park without restriction. The nearest commercial airport for fly-and-rent travelers is Salina Regional Airport, with larger service available at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport about three hours south.
