Come and explore the western part of Canada. This high roof van has all the amenities for a comfortable trip for one or two people and a small dog (up to 20 lb/9 kg). Interior standing room is 6 ft 5 in/1.95 m. There are 500 amp hours of electricity with batteries that can charge with solar, driving, or plugging in. Ensuring plenty of quality sleep, there is an RV queen size cooling gel memory foam mattress (8 in/20 cm thick, 60 in/ 1.52 m wide, 75 in/1.9 m long) with bunk windows, a skylight, a fan, and quality linens. A composting toilet that's easy to empty is a great convenience, especially during the night. A nice indoor living space includes swivel seats, a swivel table, and a screen on the sliding door. There is running hot water, a good sized fridge, and lots of storage. An electric cooktop can be used both inside and out. Let's not forget about the dog! This van was intentionally outfitted for a small (blind) dog including an 18x20 in/46x51 cm secure crate, steps up to the raised bed, guard rails for the end of the bed, and a large sink if a bath is needed. What about a shower? Showering on the road means making sure you have enough water as well as electricity to heat the water. A shower would exhaust those resources and take up limited space so it was decided not to include one in the build. We recommend showering at a community pool/recreation centre where a "shower only" rate is usually available. Campgrounds and truck stops/travel centres are also good options.
