This RV was genuinely the highlight of our trip — right up until the very end. The RV itself was excellent, clean, well-equipped, and matched the listing. We spent plenty of nights off-grid at BC Parks sites with no hookups, and the power setup handled it brilliantly, between the solar, generator, and battery, we never once felt worried about running out, despite Rob’s fairly insistent pre-trip warnings about drainage. We found the whole system intuitive and well thought through, a genuine strength of this RV. It’s clearly a popular choice too, and like any camper that’s earned that popularity through heavy use, it’s starting to show a few of the inevitable signs, a cracked fridge handle, a door lock that needed the physical key, a persistent fuel cap warning light that never fully resolved despite repeated attempts to fix it, and a water tank sensor Rob himself put down to a “faulty indicator.” All minor, and to Rob’s credit he was quick to respond on WhatsApp every time we flagged something, talking us through each issue as it came up. Unfortunately the handover soured what had otherwise been a great trip. Our ferry back from Vancouver Island docked late, and with a same-day flight home, that ate into the time we’d have liked for a proper clean, that’s on us as much as anyone, since we chose to pack our schedule tightly. Surfaces, the cooker, and the sink were all cleaned; the floor was left unswept. Rob quoted $100 for this at handover. I said at the time I felt that was steep, but wasn’t going to argue the point with a flight to catch. Then, over the next 24 hours, the RVezy system showed the charge rise to $150 and then $250, this time citing wall damage that hadn’t featured in Rob’s own return inspection completed that same day, which recorded no damage at all. When I queried it and pointed back to his own words, it dropped straight back to the original $100, which we paid without further issue. Rob’s message describing the RV as “our summer home” while pursuing extra charges rang a little hollow, it’s a rental business, not a family heirloom, and the two things shouldn’t be confused when it comes to billing. We’d still recommend the RV itself, it’s a great van. Just go in with your eyes open: leave plenty of time for handover, and get anything discussed with Rob confirmed in writing, given how easily an agreed figure moved once we’d left.

We had the most incredible experience traveling through British Columbia and Alberta with this RV. It truly allowed us to discover some of the most beautiful places, from staying off-grid in the middle of nature to enjoying cozy campsites. The RV is equipped with everything you could possibly need – comfortable, reliable, and perfect for both the road and for creating unforgettable memories wherever you park. But what made our trip truly special was the hospitality and kindness of Rob, the owner. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported and at home, no matter where we were. His warmth and genuine care left a lasting impression on us. We will never forget Rob, and we want him and his family to know they will always be welcome with us in Amsterdam. Thank you for making this adventure one we will treasure forever!
