The trail to Hamilton Falls is a popular hiking destination. Salmon Hole provides a refreshing swimming spot along the West River, which is also home to excellent trout and smallmouth bass fishing. Twice a year, scheduled water releases from Ball Mountain Dam create thrilling whitewater paddling opportunities on the West River.
