April through early June and September through October are the most comfortable months for RV travel, with mild days, cool nights, and lower humidity than peak summer. Spring brings the famous cedar glade wildflower bloom, including Tennessee coneflower and other endemic species, while fall offers crisp hiking weather and seasonal color. Summer is popular for the swimming pool and family reunions but can be hot, humid, and busy on weekends. Winter stays mostly mild but bare, with quieter campground loops and occasional freezing nights.

Cedar Forest Trail is a short loop through mature eastern red cedar woodland near the park's main day-use area. The route is easy, shaded, and accessible from paved lots that accommodate RVs.
Hidden Springs Trail is the park's signature longer loop, winding about five miles through cedar glades, hardwood stands, and karst limestone features. It offers the best chance to see rare wildflowers and quiet backcountry scenery.
Cedar glade openings in the park protect endemic plants including the federally protected Tennessee coneflower. Interpretive signage and ranger programs highlight these globally rare limestone ecosystems in spring and early summer.
The park operates a seasonal swimming pool and large picnic complex built with historic CCC-era stonework. Paved parking and shaded picnic pavilions make it an easy stop for RV families on hot afternoons.
A concessionaire-operated stable offers guided trail rides on dedicated bridle paths through the cedar forest during the warm season. Trailer parking is available near the equestrian area.
The park includes a wooded disc golf course routed through cedar and hardwood terrain. It provides a low-effort activity close to the campground for RV guests of mixed ages.
The park nature center hosts ranger-led programs on cedar glade ecology, reptiles, and night sky viewing during the main season. Programs are family friendly and based near the main campground loop.

Cedars of Lebanon State Park, TN, United States
The park lies roughly 6 miles south of Lebanon via US-231 and about 30 miles east of downtown Nashville via Interstate 40, a drive of around 40 minutes in light traffic. From Murfreesboro it is about 25 miles north, and from Knoxville it is roughly 150 miles west on I-40. RV drivers should watch for rush-hour congestion on I-40 around Nashville and Lebanon, and note that US-231 narrows to a rural two-lane road with some rolling grades near the park entrance. Nashville International Airport (BNA) is the closest major airport for fly-and-rent trips, about 35 miles west.
