Best time to visit Henry Horton State Park

April through June and September through October offer the most comfortable weather for RV camping, with mild temperatures, blooming hardwoods, or fall color along the Duck River. Summer brings hot, humid conditions and the busiest campground and pool use, so reservations are recommended on weekends. Winter stays are possible because the park remains open year-round, though expect cold nights and occasional freezing rain. Shoulder seasons also bring quieter fairways on the golf course and better wildlife viewing.

Great person with a great RV. Everything went as expected. Great communication and responses. Also went to a local RV park he recommended and was able to dump tanks, fill water and hang out on a near by lake. Great experience!

We had a great experience with our camper rental with Jamie! She and Emmett were so friendly and accommodating for our trip! Their camper served us well for our trip and I would definitely rent from them again! They even had a little welcome basket for us! So sweet!
