October through April is the most comfortable window, with mild daytime temperatures, cooler nights, and lower humidity that make hiking and cave tours pleasant. Spring, from March into May, is the peak birding season when migratory songbirds and resident warblers and vireos are active. Summer visits focus on the bat emergence from Stuart Bat Cave at dusk, but daytime heat regularly exceeds 100 F and midday hiking is not advised. • Mountain biking park roads and trails Moderate
    RV parking available

  • Stargazing and dark-sky viewing Easy
