How to get to Premier Lake Provincial Park

Access is from Highway 93/95, where a well marked turnoff leads east on a 12 km paved and gravel road to the park. Cranbrook sits 72 km south (roughly one hour) and Kimberley is 60 km southwest, while the small communities of Skookumchuck (12 km) and Wasa (16 km further south) are closest. The nearest airport for fly-and-rent is Canadian Rockies International Airport in Cranbrook. RV drivers should note the final gravel section and limited parking for trucks and trailers in the day-use lot; 4x4 and high-clearance vehicles are strongly recommended for the Rod and Gun Club boat launch access road.
