How to get to Sequoia National Park

Three Rivers is the nearest town, approximately 45 minutes from the main Ash Mountain entrance. Visalia is about 45 minutes away, and Fresno is roughly 75-80 minutes from the park. RV drivers should use the Big Stump Entrance via CA-180 from Fresno, as it offers a gentler route suitable for larger vehicles. The Ash Mountain Entrance requires navigating steep, winding mountain roads unsuitable for RVs over 30 feet. Vehicles longer than 24 feet are not recommended between the Foothills Visitor Center and Potwisha Campground, and vehicles longer than 22 feet face restrictions between Potwisha and Giant Forest Museum. Fresno Yosemite International Airport, approximately 90 minutes away, is the nearest major airport for fly-and-rent options.
