How to get to South Beach State Park

South Beach State Park sits on US Highway 101 about 2 miles south of Newport, Oregon, just across the Yaquina Bay Bridge. From Portland the drive is roughly 135 miles (about 2.5 to 3 hours) via OR-99W and US-20, and from Eugene it is about 90 miles (2 hours) via OR-34 or US-20 through the Coast Range. RV drivers should expect winding, two-lane mountain sections with grades on US-20 and OR-34, and strong crosswinds on the Yaquina Bay Bridge. The nearest commercial airports for fly-and-rent trips are Eugene (EUG) and Portland (PDX).
