Dana K.Sep 2024
First time renting an Rv. Booked for 11 days. Needed for trip down south to see family and also planned some stops on way to camp and sleep in Rv. Chose Brenda B for size and location to our home since we picked up . Was roomy for 2. Bed was easy to fold down and pretty comfortable if a bit short for my husband. Van is more for touring as it seats 8. Not great for camping but we made do. No table was provided to fit into floor and stove was induction so bring your own compatible cookware if needed. Only kitchen supplies provided was a Keurig so bring everything else if camping. Again first time Rv renter so maybe that’s typical ? Couple of quirks that need attention. Side door shade missing so hung blankets at night., and water / black tank gauges did not seem to register correctly. Wifi password not provided to us when asked so tv was not useable for us and we did not use media system so cannot comment except to say there were 3 remotes so suggest you ask how to work them if needed. Owner did explain the basics of the Rv well at pickup and Chris was available for questions when needed. Thought the Price was a bit steep for what we were able to use in the van and the quirks we had but overall if you need a spacious van for a group it’s sufficient. Was clean and had enough storage for our needs

The vehicle looks nice inside and out, and it drives well. The host was helpful. It was a lot of money for two nights though.

Chris was awesome to work with! Communicated fast and professionally! I loved the way this camper van drives. I felt like I was driving my husband's pickup, very smooth. Plenty of room for everyone and everything was easy to operate and worked perfectly. Will definitely rent this camper van again for our next trip! Thank you Chris for being such a great host and giving us the confindence of having a reliable vehicle to travel with!

What are campervans?

Two people having coffee in a campervan
Campervans, a popular and versatile RV type, are known for their compact size and efficient use of space. They often resemble a raised-roof van and have sleeping, cooking, and limited bathroom facilities. Campervans typically range in length from 16 to 22 feet and weigh between 6,000 and 8,000 pounds, making them ideal for solo travelers, couples, or small families. Their smaller size allows for easier maneuvering and parking, making them perfect for weekend getaways, road trips, or city exploration. When driving a campervan, it is essential to remain cautious of height restrictions and adjust your driving style to accommodate the vehicle's size and weight.

Renting a campervan generally costs between $200 and $300 per night, depending on the model, age, and included amenities. Fuel efficiency varies between models, but users typically expect 15 to 20 miles per gallon. Before setting off on your adventure, your RVezy host will walk you through the basic operations of your rental, including the black tank (wastewater from the toilet), gray tank (wastewater from sinks and showers), generator, and any other relevant features. Given the limited space and facilities in a campervan, it is essential to plan for the availability of public restrooms and showers and consider the vehicle's storage capacity when packing for your trip.
