Sproat Lake Provincial Park Campground is nestled on the north shore of Sproat Lake, approximately 13 kilometres northwest of Port Alberni on central Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Accessible via Highway 4, this popular provincial park campground offers a stunning freshwater setting ideal for RV travellers seeking both relaxation and outdoor adventure. The campground features two separate camping areas, a boat launch, swimming areas, picnic tables, firewood, showers, water hookups, and short trails connecting the park's key areas. Guests can enjoy warm-water swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, and waterskiing directly on Sproat Lake. Hikers and nature lovers will appreciate the 0.5-kilometre trail leading to the K'ak'awin petroglyph panel — one of the finest examples of prehistoric rock art in British Columbia. Pet-friendly (leashed pets welcome), the park also provides beach access and a boat launch for those arriving with watercraft.
