Anthony’s 12’ GeoPro trailer was a great rental experience. It was easy to connect and disconnect, which made pickup and drop-off simple and stress-free. The trailer had everything we needed, including a table, chairs, bedding, cookware, cutlery, and place settings. The kitchen was a huge bonus and made the trip much more comfortable. Overall, it was well-equipped, easy to use, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

I took my 16 year old son and 2 adult friends to there first NFL game and to watch our Oilers in Seattle in late November. Dave's RV was the perfect accommodation for the 3 days! What was awesome was the communication with Dave prior to the rental. He answered all questions and concerns in a timely fashion. In this day and age where customer service seems to be almost no existent Dave went above and beyond. Dave went through the pre trip check with me and my son and that interaction showed he cared about us having a positive experience. With any type of rental things could go wrong, nothing did for us, but I felt reassured Dave would be there if anything did, peace of mind! RV was just what we needed for this trip. Thanks again Dave!!

Booking your Edgewood RV trip is low-risk. RVezy (not the host) sets the cancellation policy, and the exact refund terms depend on how far in advance you cancel relative to your trip start date. Cross-state travel to Oregon, Idaho, and beyond is generally welcomed by Edgewood hosts, and many love seeing their rig explore the Pacific Northwest. Popular interstate routes from Edgewood include the Oregon Coast (about 5 hours to Cannon Beach), Crater Lake (about 8 hours), and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (about 6 hours). Bring a passport, passport card, or enhanced driver license (EDL) for Canadian border crossings.

What are local driving conditions like around Edgewood?

Driving an RV around Edgewood is manageable once you know the terrain. Edgewood sits at about 400 feet elevation between Tacoma and Auburn, with easy access to SR-167, SR-161, and I-5, all RV-friendly with wide lanes. Avoid downtown Tacoma's hilly, narrow streets (especially around Stadium and 6th Ave) in larger Class A rigs. Heading to Mount Rainier on SR-706 and Stevens Canyon Road, expect steep grades, switchbacks, and 25 mph curves, take it slow and use low gears descending. Winter (November to March) can bring fog, heavy rain, and occasional snow above 1,500 feet, and chains may be required on Cascade passes. Check WSDOT real-time travel before mountain trips and you'll be ready for anything.

What amenities do campgrounds near Edgewood typically offer?

Campgrounds around Edgewood range from full-service resorts to rustic national park sites, so you can match amenities to your comfort level. Full-hookup options like Seattle/Tacoma KOA in Kent offer water, sewer, 30/50 amp electric, WiFi, laundry, and showers. Washington State Parks like Dash Point and Kanaskat-Palmer provide partial hookups (water and electric at many sites), dump stations, flush toilets, and hot showers. Mount Rainier's Cougar Rock has potable water spigots and flush toilets but no hookups, so plan to use a dump station in the Tacoma or Enumclaw area on your way back. Confirm 50-amp service if you're renting a larger Class A, and check campground websites for the most current amenity status before you go.

What's included inside a typical Edgewood RV rental?

You'll be surprised how well-equipped RVezy rentals in Edgewood are, most feel like rolling apartments. Expect a queen or king bed, full kitchen (fridge, stovetop, microwave, sink, cookware), bathroom with toilet and shower, a dinette that converts to extra sleeping, roof or dash AC, a propane furnace for chilly Puget Sound mornings, and seatbelts for travel. Many campervan rental Edgewood listings add solar panels, inverters, and built-in WiFi or cellular boosters, great for remote spots near Mount Rainier with spotty service. Larger Class C and Class A motorhomes often include a TV, generator, outdoor speakers, and even outdoor kitchens. Check each listing's amenity list and message your host, most include linens, kitchenware, and basic cleaning supplies.

What add-ons and options can I expect when I rent an RV in Edgewood?

Hosts in Edgewood offer plenty of add-ons to customize your trip. Common extras include linen and kitchen kits ($25 to $75 flat fee), camp chairs and outdoor tables ($10 to $25), generators with fuel included, bike racks, BBQ grills, and even kayaks or paddleboards for Lake Tapps and Puget Sound adventures. Many hosts offer delivery and setup (typically $2 to $5 per mile), and some include a dump-and-fill service so you don't have to handle it. Mileage policies vary, look for listings advertising RV rental with unlimited mileage if you're planning a long loop. Pickup is usually in the afternoon and drop-off in the late morning, but hosts are often flexible. Message your host before booking to bundle add-ons for a better rate.

How do payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment is simple and secure. You pay through the RVezy platform with a credit or debit card when you book, never directly to the host, which protects both sides. A refundable security deposit (typically $500 to $1,500 depending on the RV's size and value) is held separately from your booking payment and is pre-authorized on your card before pickup, then released after drop-off assuming the RV is returned in the same condition. To avoid issues, do a thorough walkaround with your host at pickup (photos and video help), follow the mileage and generator limits in your agreement, return the RV with the same fuel and propane level, and dump tanks if required. RVezy support can help if any deposit questions come up.

Nearby rest areas include the Nisqually Rest Area on I-5 south of Tacoma. Many Walmart, Cracker Barrel, and Cabela's lots in the Tacoma and Federal Way area also allow free overnight RV parking when you ask the store manager first.
