Dennis was great. Very accommodating. I was in a hurry at my drop off, and I forgot a few things in my rush. Dennis held onto everything until the next day when I could return. He even kept my vegetables and meat refrigerated.

Josh and Cyndy were excellent to deal with - great communication right from the start. When we arrived to pick up the camper Josh asked how familiar we are with campers, which we weren't at all - this was our first time not sleeping on the ground or in a van. Josh took his time to walk us through every detail of the unit and its features, and got us hooked up and on our way within an hour. We were camping at Writing On Stone Campground which is a beautiful little oasis with a great lazy river running through it, and we only had to tow the trailer about 30 minutes from Josh's house. That said, with the tanks empty you can hardly notice the trailer behind you with a 1/2 ton (I have a Ram 1500 and it pulled it easily). The camper is basically brand new with all the modern comforts, and everything works as it should. The solar panels and batteries would be great if you need them, but we had a powered site so we could use the A/C and microwave which was sure nice. Everything you need is there, from paper towel, to salt & pepper, dish soap, bedding, pillows, towels, dishes and utensils, outdoor cooking stove, huge outdoor matt, coffee maker, toaster, cutting boards ..... etc. The bed was super comfortable. It has a powered slide and powered awning which was cool, and I got a few comments about the glass door which is apparently a pretty big deal for campers. I even downloaded an app on my phone that enabled me to control the lighting, awning, etc. while monitoring water levels. This 23' camper has a great floorplan, is very well maintained, and is owned by great people. We're already looking at booking it again in a couple months!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Carol’s RV. Everything from the booking, to the communication, to the pick up and then the drop off was seamless and easy. Would highly recommend booking this RV if you have a family, if you’re looking to book on a site that has services or if you’re going off grid.

When is the best time to rent an RV in Foremost?

The sweet spot for a Foremost RV trip is mid-May through late September, when daytime highs sit comfortably between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius and the prairie sky stays bright until 10 p.m. July and August are the warmest, occasionally pushing past 30 degrees, which is great for swimming and fishing at the Foremost reservoir. I've never driven an RV before. Is renting in Foremost a good idea for first-timers?

Foremost is actually one of the most beginner-friendly places in Alberta to rent an RV. The roads around the village, including Highway 61 (the Red Coat Trail) and Highway 879, are flat, straight, lightly trafficked, and have wide shoulders, making them ideal for first time renting an RV. Every RVezy host provides a hands-on walkthrough at pickup, covering everything from levelling and hookups to dumping tanks and using the generator. You can also message your host with questions before, during, and after the trip, and 24/7 roadside assistance is included. Pro tip: book a travel trailer or Class C as your first ride, they're easier to drive than a giant Class A.

What if I break down or need help during my Foremost RV trip?

You're never on your own out on the prairie. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection package, covering things like flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, and towing if needed. Foremost sits along Highway 61, a well-travelled regional route, and emergency services from the County of Forty Mile, Bow Island, and Medicine Hat can reach the area quickly. Your host is also just a message away through the RVezy app for any quirks specific to their rig. Pro tip: before leaving the host's driveway, save the roadside assistance number to your phone and snap a photo of the propane shut-off location.

Can I take my Foremost RV rental across the US border into Montana?

Many RVezy hosts allow cross-border travel from Foremost into Montana, which is a popular option since the Wild Horse and Del Bonita land crossings are both within a 90-minute drive. To unlock this RV road trip from Foremost, message the host directly from the listing to confirm cross-border permission, then request the proper insurance documentation and vehicle registration to carry at the border. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance coverage doesn't extend there. Bring passports for everyone in your group, declare any food or alcohol, and check Canada Border Services Agency wait times before you roll up. What should I budget for fuel on an RV trip from Foremost?

Fuel is usually the second-biggest line item after the rental itself, but Alberta has some of the most affordable gas in Canada, which keeps a Foremost RV trip budget-friendly. Expect 18-25 L/100 km (roughly 11-13 MPG) for a Class C motorhome and 14-18 L/100 km when towing a travel trailer. Foremost has one local fuel stop, and you'll find larger stations in Bow Island, Taber, and Medicine Hat. As of recent months, regular gas in southern Alberta has hovered between $1.30 and $1.55 per litre. Pro tip: fill up in Medicine Hat or Lethbridge for the lowest prices, and use cruise control on Highway 61 to stretch your tank.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Foremost?

You've got more flexibility here than at Banff or Jasper, but smart planning still pays off. Foremost Wayside Campground books directly through the Village of Foremost and typically has summer availability with 2-4 weeks notice, though long weekends (Victoria Day, Canada Day, August Civic, Labour Day) fill faster. For Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park, reserve through the Alberta Parks reservation system, which opens bookings 90 days in advance and sells out quickly for July and August weekends. Pro tip: pair an RVezy delivery host with an Alberta Parks reservation to lock everything in months ahead. Then all you have to do on trip day is arrive and relax.

What are the driving conditions like around Foremost?

Driving around Foremost is refreshingly easy: flat prairie, straight highways, and minimal traffic make it ideal for motorhome rental Foremost trips. Highway 61 (the Red Coat Trail) and Highway 879 are paved, well-maintained, and have wide shoulders. The main thing to watch for is crosswinds, which can be strong on open prairie, so reduce speed in any vehicle with a tall profile if winds pick up. Watch for farm equipment in spring and fall, and deer or pronghorn antelope at dawn and dusk. Winter brings ice and blowing snow, so most RV trips happen May through October. Pro tip: check 511 Alberta before you head out for real-time road conditions.

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment is straightforward and secure: you pay through RVezy at the time of booking using a credit card, and funds are held safely until your trip starts. A refundable security deposit is handled separately from your booking payment and is pre-authorized on your card before pickup, then released after the host confirms the RV came back in good condition. You will not be charged the deposit unless there is damage, excess mileage, or missing items. To avoid surprises, do a thorough walkaround with your host at pickup, take dated photos inside and out, and return the RV with the same fuel and propane levels. That simple routine keeps your deposit refund quick and stress-free.
