2020 Keystone Travel Trailer
Robert was a pleasure to deal with. He was on time for delivery. He went above and beyond to fix a water pressure issue and brought the table that was missing for camper. The camper was clean and had the essentials that were noted in the ad. If you have kids and are planning to use the DVD part, bring your own, as the selection is small. We would gladly rent from him again.

Kiley and her husband were excellent to deal with. She was extremely responsive during our trip. They offered to drive back to the site to dump the trailer mid-week to ensure we didn't have any issues. Although a bit older of a trailer, it is very clean and has been upkept very well. There are four single bunks in the back which is difficult to tell from the pictures and we used the sofa as a bed for one night and it was comfortable. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Our family of 4 had a great camping trip with this trailer! It was clean, spacious and had everything you need. The owners were very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this trailer for your next camping trip.

Do I need a special licence to rent an RV in Kincardine?

Good news: your regular Ontario G class driver's licence (or equivalent from your home province, state, or country) is all you need to rent an RV in Kincardine. No commercial licence, air brake endorsement, or RV-specific certification is required for the motorhomes, campervans, and travel trailers on RVezy. Approved drivers are generally 25 or older, and RVezy verifies your ID right through the platform during booking, so there is no awkward paperwork at pickup. Visiting from overseas? Bring an International Driving Permit alongside your home licence and you are set to enjoy your Kincardine RV trip along Lake Huron.

What protection is included with my Kincardine RV rental?

Every booking on RVezy includes a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can hit Highway 21 with real peace of mind. You choose your coverage level during checkout, not the host, so you pick the option that fits your comfort zone. The plan provides significant financial protection if something unexpected happens on your Bruce Peninsula adventure. If you are a first-time renter, the higher-tier package is a small price for a worry-free week of beachside sunsets at Station Beach.

What is the cancellation policy if my Kincardine plans change?

Booking an RV rental in Kincardine is low-risk because RVezy (not the individual host) sets the cancellation policy, and it includes a money-back grace period right after booking. That means if your kids' hockey schedule shifts or a Lake Huron storm rolls in, you have built-in flexibility. Refund amounts depend on how far ahead of your trip you cancel. The full details are available on the RVezy Help Center, and customer support is reachable before, during, and after your trip. Book with confidence, then start planning your Saturday night Pipe Band Parade visit.

Can I bring my dog on a Kincardine RV trip?

Absolutely. Kincardine is a wonderfully dog-friendly destination and many RVezy hosts welcome pets. Use the Pet-Friendly filter on the listing page to find a pet-friendly RV rental in Kincardine, then head to MacGregor Point Provincial Park, which has dedicated pet exercise areas. Station Beach in town has designated dog-friendly hours in shoulder seasons, and local rail trails are perfect for long sniffy walks. Message the host before booking to confirm pet fees and any size limits, and pack a towel because Lake Huron beach days mean wet, sandy dogs.

Can the RV be delivered to my campground in Kincardine?

Yes, RV delivery in Kincardine is offered by many local hosts and it is a game-changer if you are new to RVing. Filter for Delivery on the listing page and your host can tow or drive the RV directly to Inverhuron Provincial Park, MacGregor Point Provincial Park, a nearby private campground, or even your cottage driveway. They will level it, hook up water and power, and walk you through every system before handing over the keys. No backing into a tight site, no figuring out the awning solo. Delivery is especially popular for festival weekends like the Kincardine Scottish Festival and Highland Games, so book early.

How far can I drive during my Kincardine RV trip?

Each host on RVezy sets their own mileage policy, and you will see the included kilometres right on the listing before you book. Some hosts even offer an RV rental with unlimited mileage, perfect for an extended Lake Huron loop. From Kincardine, popular trips include Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula National Park (about 175 km north, around 2.5 hours), Sauble Beach (around 60 km, 50 minutes), Stratford for the theatre festival (around 115 km, 1.5 hours), and Niagara Falls (around 290 km, 3.5 hours). If you are planning a longer RV road trip from Kincardine, message the host to negotiate a bigger mileage package upfront, often cheaper than per-km overage fees.

Where are the best campgrounds near Kincardine for an RV?

You are spoiled for choice with great campgrounds near Kincardine. Inverhuron Provincial Park (around 14 km north) offers electrical and pull-through sites ideal for larger RVs, with private treed lots near Lake Huron. MacGregor Point Provincial Park (around 30 km north near Port Elgin) has multiple campgrounds, a year-round trailer sanitation station, and famous sunsets. Closer to town, look at private parks with full hookups along the lakeshore. Provincial park sites at Inverhuron and MacGregor Point book up months ahead for July and August, so reserve as early as possible.

When is the best time of year for RV camping in Kincardine?

Peak season for RV camping in Kincardine runs from late May through early October, with July and August offering warm Lake Huron swimming weather (daytime highs typically around 24 to 27°C). June is gorgeous for birding at MacGregor Point's Huron Fringe Birding Festival, and September brings warm days, cool nights, and far fewer crowds. Winter camping is genuinely magical here: MacGregor Point stays open year-round with heated comfort stations, and cross-country skiing along Lake Huron is unforgettable. Aim for late June or early September if you want the beach without the long weekend lineups.

I've never rented an RV before. Will I be okay driving one around Kincardine?

You will do great, and first time renting an RV is exactly what RVezy is built for. Every host provides a hands-on walkthrough at pickup covering driving, levelling, water, propane, and the awning, so you are never figuring it out alone. Kincardine's roads are relaxed compared to big-city driving: Highway 21 along the lake is wide and scenic, and downtown speeds are slow. If you are nervous, choose a smaller campervan rental in Kincardine, or pick the Delivery option so the RV is already parked and set up. Do a slow loop in an empty parking lot like the Davidson Centre before heading to your campsite.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirements

What happens if my RV breaks down on the way to Tobermory or Sauble Beach?

Take a breath, you are covered. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan, so a flat tire on Highway 21 or a dead battery at Inverhuron is just a phone call away. RVezy's customer support team is also available around the clock if you need help reaching your host or coordinating repairs. Your host typically gives you their direct contact at pickup, too, so for small questions (like which switch runs the water pump) help is just a text away. Save the RVezy support number in your phone before you leave town, just in case cell service gets spotty near the Bruce Peninsula.

Can I take a Kincardine RV rental across the border into the United States?

Cross-border trips into the US (think Mackinac Island, the Upper Peninsula, or a loop through Michigan) may be possible, but it depends on the host's approval and insurance coverage, so message them directly from the listing before booking to confirm. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on any RVezy rental. For most renters, there is so much to explore inside Ontario, from a motorhome rental in Kincardine up to Tobermory's Flowerpot Island ferry, to Algonquin Park (about 5 hours east), that you may never need to cross. If you do head to the US, bring your passport, proof of insurance, and the host's written travel authorization.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validity

What's a realistic fuel budget for an RV trip from Kincardine?

Plan smart and fuel will not blow your budget. Class C motorhomes typical of an RV rental in Ontario average around 18 to 22 litres per 100 km, while smaller campervans and travel trailers (towed by your own truck) can do better. Ontario gas prices typically run around $1.45 to $1.70 per litre, with Kincardine often a few cents cheaper than the GTA. A 500 km loop to Tobermory and back will run roughly $130 to $180 in fuel. Fill up in Kincardine or Walkerton rather than at the Tobermory end of the peninsula where prices climb, and use a fuel-price app to find the cheapest stations along Highway 21.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Kincardine?

Book early, especially for the provincial parks. Ontario Parks opens reservations five months ahead through the official Ontario Parks reservation system, and prime weekends at Inverhuron and MacGregor Point sell out quickly, particularly for July, August, and the Scottish Festival weekend in early July. Private campgrounds typically open bookings in winter and also fill quickly for long weekends. Set a calendar reminder for exactly five months before your target date at 7 a.m. Eastern, and watch for last-minute cancellations if you miss the first wave.

What are driving conditions like around Kincardine?

Driving around Kincardine is refreshingly easy. Highway 21 (the Bluewater Highway) hugs the Lake Huron shoreline with gentle curves, two lanes, and minimal traffic outside long weekends. Watch for sudden lake-effect snow squalls from November through March, deer at dawn and dusk on rural concession roads, and slower farm equipment in spring and fall. There are no mountain passes, low bridges, or tight urban tunnels to worry about, which makes this a fantastic region for new RVers. If you are driving in from Toronto (about 3 hours via Highways 401, 8, and 21), avoid Friday afternoon cottage-country traffic by leaving before noon or after 7 p.m.
511on.ca/

What amenities will I find at campgrounds near Kincardine?

Local campgrounds are well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Inverhuron Provincial Park offers electrical sites, pull-throughs, flush toilets, hot showers, and a trailer sanitation station for dumping and filling. MacGregor Point has a year-round dump and fill platform, plus laundry facilities and heated comfort stations even in winter. Private parks in the area typically offer full hookups (water, electric, sewer), pools, playgrounds, and Wi-Fi, so finding where to park an RV in Kincardine with full services is easy. Provincial parks generally do not have sewer at the site, so plan one mid-trip dump station visit on longer stays.
ontarioparks.ca/park/inverhuron

What's typically included inside an RVezy rental in Kincardine?

Most RVs on RVezy come ready to camp from the moment you turn the key. Expect a queen or double bed, dinette and/or bunk conversions, a kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, sink, and cookware, a bathroom with toilet and shower, plus a roof AC, furnace, and seatbelts for travellers. Many motorhomes include a TV, outdoor speakers, and a generator for off-grid stays at spots like Inverhuron's non-electric sites. Each listing spells out exactly what is included and what is optional. Filter by Sleeps count to match your group size, and confirm whether linens and kitchenware are included or available as an add-on before booking your family RV trip in Kincardine.
rvezy.com/

What add-ons and pickup options should I know about?

Hosts offer a range of helpful add-ons that make your trip easier. Common extras include camping chairs, BBQs, bike racks, kayaks (great for the Saugeen River), generators, linens and towels packages, kitchen kits, and Wi-Fi hotspots. Delivery and setup is the most popular option, especially to Inverhuron, MacGregor Point, or a cottage in nearby Tiverton. Pickup logistics are simple: you will meet your host at their location (usually around Kincardine, Tiverton, or Port Elgin), do a 30 to 60 minute walkthrough, and you are off. Bundle delivery with a generator add-on if you are booking a non-electric site at Inverhuron so you enjoy AC and coffee without lifting a finger.

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment is straightforward and secure. You pay through the RVezy platform when you book (never cash to the host), using a credit card. A refundable security deposit is pre-authorized on your card a few days before your trip and released after your trip ends, assuming the RV is returned in the same condition. The amount varies by RV but is clearly shown before you confirm your booking, so there are no surprises. Take time-stamped photos and a short video of the RV inside and out at pickup and dropoff: this is the single best way to ensure a smooth deposit refund after your Kincardine adventure.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-works

Are there RVs available for winter camping in Kincardine?

Yes, and winter on Lake Huron is genuinely beautiful. Some Kincardine-area RVezy hosts list four-season motorhomes and trailers with heated holding tanks, enclosed underbellies, and propane furnaces suitable for cold-weather use. MacGregor Point Provincial Park is open all year with electrical sites, an open dump station, heated comfort stations, and groomed cross-country ski trails just steps from your door. Expect winter temperatures often between -5°C and -15°C from December through February, with lake-effect snow that turns the forest into a postcard. Message hosts directly to confirm cold-weather readiness, ask about skirting, tank heaters, and 30-amp shore power, and book an electrical site at MacGregor Point for the easiest winter setup.
