2026 Grand Design Travel Trailer
This was an entirely new experience for us and we could not be happier with the service and the beautiful travel trailer. Cheryl communicated beforehand so we knew exactly what to expect. They set it up quickly and explained everything these old first timers needed to know to enjoy our time. The trailer is spacious, comfortable and immaculate, it is well equipped with everything we needed. Everything worked perfectly. We spent each evening in the heated massaging recliner chairs to relax before crawling into the comfortable bed. The three couples we were with were envious of how nice our unit was. We may be ‘fighting’ with two of those couples to see who gets it next time. I would rate our experience a 10. Would recommend Chrryl without any hesitation

The RV was in good condition and clean. I was pleased with the owners attitude and would be willing to rent from him again for that area of the country. I returned the RV early due to weather conditions, not directly relating to any problems with the RV. I did discuss with the owner some minor issues that I'm sure he will look into before future rentals.

What license do I need to rent an RV in Pea Ridge, Arkansas?

Great news: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. The state does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or any special endorsement for motorhomes or travel trailers used recreationally, no matter the size. You'll just need to be 25 or older to book on RVezy, and we'll verify your ID securely through the platform during checkout. Visiting from outside the US? Bring your home country's license along with an International Driving Permit (IDP) and you're set. Most first-time renters are surprised how simple it is, especially when their host walks them through every system at pickup before they roll out toward Beaver Lake.

Is my Pea Ridge RV rental protected if something happens on the road?

Yes, you can book with confidence. Every RV rental in Pea Ridge booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance built right into your reservation. The protection plan covers physical damage to the RV up to the limits of the plan you choose at checkout, so you decide how much peace of mind feels right, not the host. Whether you're winding through the Ozarks or parked at Beaver Lake, roadside assistance covers things like flat tires, lockouts, battery boosts, and towing. Pro tip: review the protection tiers side by side at booking, it takes about a minute and makes a big difference if anything unexpected happens.

What happens if I need to cancel my Pea Ridge RV trip?

Plans change, and booking an RV rental in Pea Ridge is low risk because RVezy applies a standard cancellation policy to every reservation. There is a grace period after booking when you can cancel for a full refund, and the amount refunded after that depends on how far out your trip is. Severe weather and natural disasters are handled with extra flexibility, which matters during Northwest Arkansas spring storm season. Cancellation terms are set by RVezy, not the individual host, so you don't have to compare policies between listings. If something comes up, contact RVezy support and they will walk you through your options. Pro tip: book early to lock in the best rigs for Bentonville mountain biking and Beaver Lake weekends.

Can I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Pea Ridge?

Yes, your pup is welcome on plenty of trips. Use the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy to instantly see pet-friendly RV rental options in Pea Ridge, then message the host before booking to confirm any deposit, size limits, or rules. Northwest Arkansas is great for dog owners: the Razorback Regional Greenway connecting Bentonville and Fayetteville is leash friendly, and most Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds around Beaver Lake welcome leashed pets. Pea Ridge National Military Park allows leashed dogs on park roads and trails. Pro tip: pack a portable water bowl, summers in Benton County regularly hit the low 90s, and shady stops fill up fast.

Can the RV be delivered to my campsite near Pea Ridge?

Yes, RV delivery in Pea Ridge is one of the most popular options on RVezy, especially for first timers who would rather not drive a big rig their first time out. Many local hosts will deliver and set up your motorhome or travel trailer directly at Beaver Lake Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds like Prairie Creek, Rocky Branch, or Dam Site, at Hobbs State Park Conservation Area, or even at a private address if you are visiting family in the Bentonville area. Filter for Delivery on the search page to see hosts who offer it. Delivery fees are typically based on mileage from the host's location. Pro tip: ask your host to leave the rig set up and leveled so you arrive to a campsite that is ready to enjoy.

From Pea Ridge you can easily reach Branson, Missouri (about 75 miles, 1.5 hours), Eureka Springs (35 miles, 50 minutes), Hot Springs National Park (200 miles, 3.5 hours), Buffalo National River at Ponca (90 miles, 2 hours), and Tulsa, Oklahoma (135 miles, 2.5 hours). Pro tip: if you're planning a multi-state RV road trip from Pea Ridge, filter for unlimited mileage upfront, it usually saves money versus paying per-mile overage fees.

Where are the best campgrounds near Pea Ridge for RV camping?

The best campgrounds near Pea Ridge cluster around Beaver Lake just minutes south of town. Top picks for RV camping in Pea Ridge include Prairie Creek Park in Rogers (electric and water hookups, swim beach, about 15 minutes away), Rocky Branch Park (electric and water sites with bluff views), Dam Site Lake and Dam Site River parks near Beaver Dam, Hobbs State Park Conservation Area (electric sites with miles of hiking), and Indian Creek and Horseshoe Bend parks farther down the lake. Most lake parks are managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers and bookable on Recreation.gov. Pro tip: lakeside loops at Prairie Creek sell out fastest, set a reservation alert about six months ahead for summer weekends.

When is the best time to take an RV trip from Pea Ridge?

Pea Ridge is a three-season sweet spot. April through early June brings 70 to 80 degree days, blooming dogwoods, and the War Eagle spring craft fair. September and October are arguably the best months, with crisp 60 to 75 degree days, low humidity, and brilliant Ozark fall color around Beaver Lake. July and August are warm with highs around 90, perfect for swimming and paddling. Winter rentals are available too: January highs hover in the mid-40s, with quiet campgrounds and lower rates. Pro tip: time your trip with the third weekend in October for the War Eagle Fair, one of the largest craft fairs in the region, just a short drive from Pea Ridge.

I've never driven an RV before, will I be okay renting in Pea Ridge?

You'll do great, first time renting an RV in Pea Ridge is easier than most people expect. Your host will give you a hands-on walkthrough at pickup covering driving tips, hookups, the water system, propane, slides, and the generator, so you are never left guessing. Pea Ridge sits in a rural pocket of Benton County with wide roads like US-62 and AR-72, which are low-stress places to get comfortable behind the wheel before heading anywhere busier. Nervous about driving at all? Choose a host who offers delivery and skip the driving entirely. Pro tip: start with a Class C motorhome or a small travel trailer, both drive close to a large pickup truck, and message your host with questions before you book.

What happens if my RV breaks down during my Pea Ridge trip?

You're covered around the clock. Every RVezy booking, including every Pea Ridge RV rental, comes with 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan. If you get a flat on AR-72 heading to Beaver Lake, lock the keys inside at Prairie Creek Park, or have a battery issue out near Eureka Springs, one phone call gets help dispatched. Your host is also a great first call for quick mechanical questions, since most respond within minutes through the RVezy app, and RVezy support is available before, during, and after your trip. Pro tip: snap photos of the tire condition and dashboard during your walkthrough, it makes any roadside call faster and smoother.

Can I take my Pea Ridge RV rental across state lines or into Canada?

Yes, interstate RV road trips from Pea Ridge are easy since the town sits less than 10 miles from the Missouri border. Most hosts welcome travel throughout the lower 48, with Branson, Tulsa, Memphis, and Texas Hill Country loops being popular multi-state routes. Cross-border travel into Canada may be allowed with host approval and proper documentation, so message the host directly from the listing to confirm before booking. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance and protection coverage does not extend there. Pro tip: a classic Pea Ridge motorhome rental loop is Pea Ridge to Branson to Buffalo National River and back, three states and four nights, all within about 350 miles.

What should I budget for fuel on an RV trip from Pea Ridge?

Fuel is usually the second biggest line item after the rental itself, and Arkansas gas prices typically run below the national average, which keeps RV camping in Pea Ridge budget friendly. Expect about 8 to 10 MPG on a Class A motorhome, 10 to 14 MPG on a Class C, 15 to 20 MPG on a Class B campervan, and 12 to 18 MPG when towing a travel trailer with a pickup. A weekend loop to Branson and back, about 160 miles round trip, runs roughly $50 to $80 in fuel depending on your rig. Most Pea Ridge stations stock both regular gas and diesel. Pro tip: use the GasBuddy app to spot the cheapest diesel in Rogers or Bentonville before you fill up.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Pea Ridge?

For the best sites, plan to book about six months out. Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds around Beaver Lake, including Prairie Creek, Rocky Branch, Dam Site, Indian Creek, and Horseshoe Bend, open reservations on Recreation.gov on a six-month rolling window, and waterfront sites for May through September weekends often go quickly. Hobbs State Park reservations open through ArkansasStateParks.com on a similar rolling window. For shoulder season trips in March, April, or October, three to four weeks ahead is usually fine. Pro tip: if you strike out on Recreation.gov, check back on Sunday evenings, that is when many cancellations from the previous weekend post.
recreation.gov/

What are the driving conditions like around Pea Ridge?

Driving an RV around Pea Ridge is pleasantly low-stress for the Ozarks region. The town sits on US Highway 62, a wide two-lane road with gentle terrain, and you're 15 minutes from Interstate 49 (the main north-south corridor through Northwest Arkansas). Expect rolling hills rather than steep mountain grades, though the routes east toward Eureka Springs (Highway 62) include some curves and elevation, take them slow in a Class A. Watch for deer at dawn and dusk, and be aware that spring thunderstorms can roll through fast between March and May. Bentonville and Rogers traffic peaks on weekday mornings and after 5 PM. Pro tip: skip the I-49 rush hour and use Highway 71B as a calmer alternative when heading south toward Fayetteville.

What amenities can I expect at campgrounds near Pea Ridge?

You'll find solid infrastructure at most campgrounds near Pea Ridge. Army Corps of Engineers parks around Beaver Lake offer 30 and 50 amp electric and water hookups at most sites, with dump stations available at the entrance of every park for registered campers. Potable water fill stations are clearly marked. Hobbs State Park offers electric and water sites with modern bathhouses and hot showers, but no sewer at individual sites. Full hookup sites including sewer are typically found at private parks in the area. Pro tip: top off your fresh water tank before leaving the Corps campgrounds so you arrive at your next stop ready to camp.

What's included inside a typical Pea Ridge RV rental?

Pretty much everything you need to camp comfortably. A typical RV rental in Pea Ridge comes with sleeping for 4 to 8 (queen beds, bunks, or convertible dinettes), a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, sink, and cookware, a bathroom with toilet and shower, climate control with roof air conditioning and a propane furnace, and seatbelted travel seats for everyone riding. Many listings also include a TV, Wi-Fi hotspot, outdoor speakers, or an onboard generator, which is great for boondocking near Beaver Lake. Linens and kitchen kits are sometimes included and sometimes a small add-on, so check the listing details. Pro tip: message the host to confirm generator hours if you are heading to a no-hookup loop at Hobbs State Park.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Pea%20Ridge%2C%20Arkansas

What add-ons can I get with my Pea Ridge RV rental?

Lots of fun extras are available, and they're worth it. Popular add-ons from Pea Ridge hosts include linen and bedding kits ($35 to $75), kitchen and cooking kits ($25 to $50), portable propane fire pits (great because many Beaver Lake campgrounds enforce burn bans in late summer), camp chairs, kayak or paddleboard packages, bike racks (essential if you're hitting the Razorback Greenway), generators, and Starlink Wi-Fi. Pickup and dropoff are usually at the host's home address in Pea Ridge, Rogers, or Bentonville, with delivery available for an extra fee. Mileage policies vary, so review the listing's daily allowance and overage rate upfront. Pro tip: bundle the bike rack and linen kit, you'll save versus à la carte pricing on most listings.

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment is simple and secure: you pay through the RVezy platform with a credit or debit card, never directly to the host. You'll see your full booking total including nightly rate, protection plan, add-ons, and taxes before you confirm, with no surprise fees later. The host's security deposit is handled through RVezy and is separate from the booking payment. The deposit is authorized on your card before pickup and released after a smooth return. To avoid any deposit issues, take date-stamped photos of the interior, exterior, odometer, and tanks at pickup and return. Pro tip: a short walk-around video on your phone at departure and return is one of the simplest ways to protect yourself.
