Porteau Cove is one of the Vancouver area's premier scuba diving destinations, featuring sunken ships, human-made reefs, and depths ranging from 6 to 18 metres. The Granthall and Centennial wrecks, along with the jungle gym, attract diverse marine life including anemones, decorator crabs, and over 100 marine species.
An easy 300-metre trail with rock and wooden steps leads to a viewpoint overlooking Porteau Cove and Howe Sound with mountain views beyond. The trail is suitable for most fitness levels and offers excellent sunset and sunrise views.
Paddle on Howe Sound from the park's boat launches, exploring the shoreline and observing marine wildlife. Rentals and lessons are available nearby in the Squamish and Vancouver area.
Rocky and pebble beaches provide access to the water for swimming. At low tide, visitors can explore rock pools and observe sea life like crabs and shellfish. Water shoes are recommended.
Spot harbour seals, river otters, mink, coyotes, and raccoons year-round. From spring through fall, orcas, gray whales, and humpback whales are frequently visible from the shore and boat launches.
Fish from the rocky shores or access deeper waters from the two paved boat launches. The park provides excellent opportunities for both shore fishing and boat-based fishing in Howe Sound.
Walk the pier for scenic views of Howe Sound, Anvil Island, and the Sunshine Coast mountains. Popular for photography and nature observation.

Mr Yi has been very helpful in sharing the information about the vehicle. For me it was the first experience. Mr Yi's inputs were very helpful. The vehicle was in a very good condition and my family enjoyed a lot. Mr Yi was very flexible and accommodative regarding the time. I will say it exceeded my expectations in all aspect. Thanks
