We had a houseful over for Christmas and needed extra sleeping quarters. This RV worked out perfectly to sleep 5 large adults and the owner was very accommodating and communicative.

A great RV experience l, would definitely recommend

The pictures advertised on the listing were of a much newer and fully functional RV. Upon pickup there was rotting food in the microwave the host had not cleaned and a leaking bathroom sink with water spilling into the hallway. The smell from these issues persisted into the first few days of the trip. Surfaces were clearly not wiped down, as grime could be removed from the kitchen counters and table with a simple wipe using a paper towel. There was what appears to be mold in the corners of the bedroom, under the mattress. Roof vents were taped so they could not be used. Kitchen stove had a broken burner. Shower was in an unusable and unsanitary condition. Rooftop A/C did not function at all, even when plugged in. The water pump had issues where it would overflow the toilet if left on. The fridge was not clean. Only one out of 5+ windows had a screen, so bugs were a constant issue. The waste level monitor did not function correctly. The windscreen of the cabin was covered in dead bugs on pickup. The awning was not usable. There were fake eyelashes found in the bathroom halfway through the trip, meaning it had clearly not been cleaned. The main door was not deadbolt lockable from the outside, so you had to climb out the front if you wanted to safely secure the RV. Halfway through the trip we also noticed blackwater leaking out of the tank and under the RV. The carbon monoxide monitor was not functional even after replacing the fuse that had been deliberately removed from the fuse panel to disable it. Bathroom light did not work. Only 2 of the 3 stovetop burners were functional. Blankets left in the bedroom closets were stained and in disgusting condition. There was built up black grease and food staining the backsplash in the kitchen. There was false representation of battery capabilities for running interior outlets. Steering alignment has a hard pull to the right. We discovered later in the trip the tires on the front of the vehicle are from 2011! 2 of the rear tires ended up disintegrating, while we were driving home on the highway, within 2 hours of one another. One blew and the other delaminated. These tires were not kept in safe driving conditions, despite having tread left, they were beyond a reasonable age to be left on any vehicle. After the 2nd tire went, we were stranded overnight on the highway and ended up having to abandon the RV for a tow truck to deal with, ruining the end of our trip. We had even planned to come home a day early to cut our losses, but instead had to rely on family members to drive 200+ km to rescue us. Calling the host during the trip was not helpful as they were not able to clearly explain or justify any of these issues. We had to rely fully on RVezy and roadside assistance (which we thankfully purchased) to get us through the end of our trip. Considering the danger we were put in due to the conditions of the tires, we honestly feel lucky to not have been seriously injured, had one of the front tires blown before the back did. We should never have driven away with this RV, but it's a difficult decision to make as we were fully packed with a week's worth of camping reservations already paid for. The trip only got more difficult as we discovered how many discrepancies there were between what was advertised and what we were actually travelling in. We would NEVER rent an RV like this again, without seeing the condition before booking, including full maintenance reports. Overall terrible experience renting the RV.

Yi Yi was very helpful during our trip with his RV. He literally went the extra mile to return a case to us which had been lost by the airline. The RV ran very well and the beds were comfortable. The only improvement is that there could have been better Kitchen equipment. There was no tin opener, or glasses, and only three cups....

RV was a bit noisy on the highway, and there were only two chairs for our group of four (and one chair was broken). But overall it was a great first RV experience. Yi Yi made himself available for our questions including when we struggled to get the awning set up. Would rent again!

RV itself is decently appointed for the dollar value. Engine ran well and all electronics/refrigerator and toilet/shower worked well. Suspension of RV is likely due for work. Seemed like the back end sagged a bit, even when empty. Black water tank gauge not reliable (states always full) so a bit of guessing game there. We had to swap the battery in the smoke detector. The owner wasn't present at the time of pickup and sent an assistant who knew nothing about the vehicle and was frustrated when we had questions about the operation of the systems. The owner did talk to us by phone but unfortunately without being there he wasn't able to walk us through the various things we really should have been instructed on. We figured all of it out on our own over time but really not the best way to start our trip, especially because we spent 8/10 days in the us in remote areas with terrible cell reception. Additionally we had to spend a couple hours after picking up the RV cleaning out the fridge/freezer and washroom to a degree that was really disappointing especially after paying an $80 cleaning fee. Like all good campers we left the RV as clean as would have preferred to receive it and much better than we actually did. Overall we still have a wonderful time and given different service by the owner, our review would have been generally very positive. As it was, the RV was great but our overall experience was left wanting due to the inattentive nature of the owner at the outset.

The owner is very helpful and friendly, we enjoyed the stay in the car so much and we’re looking forward to rent with the owner again!

This is my first time have a RV camping. I have a very nice experience. Owner told me what I need to bring and prepare for RV camping. And He explained everything about RV. It is not a new RV, but it is very clean and have everything we need.

Had a great camping trip and experience in this RV, it was clean and drove nicely. The host was friendly and punctual, also very understanding for drop off times as we got delayed a bit coming back. Would recommend!

Alan was very flexible to work with to facilitate the needs of our weekend getaway. The motorhome was exactly as described and what we needed, it kept us warm in the fall months with periodic generator use to keep the battery full! It also drives super smooth, would definitely rent this RV again!! Thank you!!

We had a great time taking this RV on a road trip to USA. The host is very easy to communicate with and he’s very responsive. The RV was in a clean and working condition. Sleeping arrangement works for 5 people max, (4 adults 1 kid). Kitchen and bathroom works as expected. There are plates, bowls, pots, and pans available in the RV too. The stove uses propane. You’ll need to stay at a campsite with hook ups to be able to use the microwave though. The only issue we had was the steering and brakes, we find them a bit finicky, which I think the host should look into. It didn’t hinder our driving experience very much, but for long term it should be maintained better. Will definitely rent again!

It's a bit older than the pictures. Could use a little t.l.c. Otherwise, it's a good r.v. We enjoyed our time with it. The owner is very nice and flexible.

The trip itself was great, however, feel that the RV was not upto our expectations. Needs some TLC and upgrades

We rented this RV for approx. 10 days with our two kids for a trip across BC. The host was very friendly but I feel this does not make up for the discrepancy between the photos and description of the RV vs what is offered on site. Why didn't I make a complaint right from the start? because I'm stranded in BC with my family without options and could not spend time hoping to find something else and our host was out of town and had a friend meeting with us. The pictures online are outdated and while I can handle some esthetic differences due to age and wear/tear, things need to be repaired in this camper. For the money we paid, the owner should be putting some return into his investment. Two windows had damage and/or no screens on them, the shower floor is in need of repair, several drawers/cupboards would open while we were driving, the a/c does not work, limited plugs inside the camper, ceiling vent above master bed broken, axe is broken, no generator limiting cooking abilities when off grid, paid extra for linens and only bedding provided-not one towel provided for a family of 4, several cracked/broken dishes, only one cereal/soup bowl for a family of 4, pots and pans need upgrading. I recognize that the cost of everything has gone up and some tenants are not as kind to this RV as others, but for the $4000+ I paid to rent this RV I expected to see more supplies and more care from the owner. Beds are not comfortable-even the kids complained, dining table cushions need to be replaced due to becoming worn over time. Dining table appeared to have been repainted recently-some white paint got onto our tablet cover. The door to the storage hose for the black tank did not latch properly and after returning the camper, we were told that the hose went missing. I will not be paying to replace this hose as this happened because the camper is in disrepair. If this RV appeals to you-ask for updated pictures, ask for specific supplies to be stocked and negotiate price to your comfort level.
