Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are the dominant draw, about fifteen minutes east. Guests at Anaheim Harbor RV Park can reach the parks on foot in roughly 20 minutes or by catching the Anaheim Resort Transit bus that stops outside the park. Long Beach delivers a full day on its own: the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary, Shoreline Village, and the bike path along the harbor, all walkable from Golden Shore RV Resort. Beach days run south down PCH through Seal Beach, Sunset Beach, and Huntington Beach, where the Bolsa Chica Multi-Use Trail links Bolsa Chica State Beach with Huntington State Beach along roughly 8.5 miles of paved path. The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, directly across PCH from the campground, is one of the better birding stops in Southern California. Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park rounds out the family itinerary.

The Cerritos area is a year-round RV destination, but conditions and crowds shift noticeably with the calendar. Summer is the peak window: warm, dry, and reliably sunny, with daytime highs in the upper seventies to low eighties along the coast. Beach campgrounds and Disney-adjacent parks book out weeks ahead, and Bolsa Chica State Beach reservations open six months in advance to the day at 8 a.m. Pacific, with sites going quickly for weekends and holidays. Spring and fall are the sweet spots for RV travelers who want milder traffic and easier reservations. Winter is the wet season for Southern California, with most annual rainfall arriving December through February. Daytime highs remain in the mid-sixties.
