Me and my family rented a beautiful camper from Mathews Aspen trailer. Communication was great drop off was there when it was supposed to been dropped off, inside camper was extremely clean. It was left just as good when checking out.We only used camper for sleeping and the air conditioner worked perfect with temps close to 100° The campground that we stayed at had so many activities and so much going on that we never even spent a moment in the camper until evening. Five star experience.

Mathew was awesome. Very friendly guy. We requested a delivery for his camper and by the time we got to the campgrounds at the agreed upon time to meet him at the entrance and show him where to setup.. he already had the camper completely ready to go on our site and was just waiting for us to arrive. Trailer was perfect. Looks brand new, clean, and everything worked with no issues. We will definitely give him repeat business. Highly recommend. Would give 6 stars if possible.

How to book a site

Massachusetts state park campgrounds, including Horseneck Beach State Reservation and Massasoit State Park, are reserved through ReserveAmerica on the DCR camping portal. Reservations open up to four months before the arrival date, and walk-in registrations are not permitted. Same-day reservations can be made online until 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. A non-refundable transaction charge applies to each reservation, and changes or cancellations carry an additional fee. Non-resident rates are higher than Massachusetts resident rates. Firewood cannot be transported into DCR campgrounds and must be purchased on site. Private parks such as Gateway to Cape Cod RV Campground, Boston / Cape Cod KOA Holiday, and Meadowlark RV Park take reservations directly through their own websites or the KOA system.

What to expect on site

Horseneck Beach has 100 paved back-in sites, with electric hookups on sites 1 through 68 and a dump station on the property. The layout is open and treeless, which means constant sea breeze, cool nights even in July, and little afternoon shade. Sites accommodate rigs up to about 42 feet, generators are not allowed in the campground, and pets are not allowed on the beach from April 1 through September 15. Massasoit State Park is a forested inland campground with 20/30/50-amp electric sites, tent sites, a generator-free area, flush toilets, showers, and a dump station. Alcohol is prohibited in all Massachusetts state parks. Same-day reservations close at 2 p.m., and walk-ins are not accepted at either park.
