We had the best time staying in this camper for our family beach trip. It was very clean when we arrived all the beds were made so cute and we had all the things we needed for a weeks stay! Everything was great. They were very punctual and professional and made us feel at home right away upon them dropping it off. We had no issues throughout the week and I would 100% rent it again!!

When is the best time of year for an RV trip in Mobile?

What’s the average fuel economy for RVs in Mobile, and how should I budget for gas on my trip?

Great planning move! Most motorhome rentals in Mobile get 8–12 mpg, while campervans and travel trailers do slightly better. Local gas prices in Mobile tend to be lower than the national average. What local driving conditions should I expect around Mobile, including bridges or city traffic?

Driving around Mobile is RV-friendly, but be ready for a few unique points: the Bankhead Tunnel downtown has a 12-foot clearance (so check your RV’s height), and highway bridges over Mobile Bay can get windy, especially in storm season. I-10 can see rush hour traffic at the tunnel and across the bay, so plan departures for mid-morning. For less stress, use RV delivery to places like Meaher State Park just outside the city.

Mobile campgrounds usually offer full hookups: including water, electric, and sewer: at places like All About Relaxing RV Park and Shady Acres. If you need to dump tanks between stops, Love’s Travel Stop on Highway 90 is a favorite with travelers.
