The RV matches the photos and description. Overall, everything worked smoothly and without any issues. The only issue is high fuel consumption. This may be normal for this type of vehicle, but it's hard for me to say since it was my first experience. Kristin was nice, responsive, and always available. Thank you so much for such a great experience. I'll definitely use her again. I highly recommend her!

Thor was amazing. It really was like home on the road. The drive was smooth and felt safe. It was clean and in order when picked up. Even had sheets when we realized ours were a bit snug. Bill was friendly, understanding, and explained everything thoroughly and in a timely manner. We did drive through the night our last day since we were missing our babies at home and realized that the rear cameras were of little help even though they were supper helpful during the day. Might have been the dust build up though. 10/10

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Page, AZ

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Page, Arizona?

RV rental in Page is often more affordable than hotel stays near Lake Powell during peak season. On RVezy, travel trailers typically start around $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes generally run $150 to $275 per night, and larger Class A motorhomes can go higher. You can save by booking midweek, traveling in the November to February shoulder window, or filtering for hosts who offer weekly discounts. Pro tip: bundling delivery to Wahweap or Lone Rock Beach often costs less than driving a big rig yourself if it is your first time. Use the price filter on RVezy to find a cheap RV rental in Page that fits your budget.

What license do I need to rent an RV in Page, AZ?

Good news: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Page, AZ. Arizona does not require a commercial driver's license (CDL) or any special endorsement for the motorhomes and travel trailers listed on RVezy, including Class A, Class C, and fifth wheel rigs. You'll need to be at least 25 years old, and RVezy will verify your ID through the platform during booking, so there's no extra paperwork at pickup. Visiting from abroad? An International Driving Permit (IDP) paired with your home license works perfectly. Most first-time renters are surprised how simple the requirements are, and your host will walk you through the rig in person before you hit the road to Antelope Canyon or Horseshoe Bend.

Is RV insurance and roadside assistance included with my Page, Arizona rental?

Yes, every RV rental in Page comes with a protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance included with your booking. During checkout you will choose from RVezy renter protection plan tiers based on the level of coverage you want, and the plan helps cover damage to the vehicle so you can focus on enjoying Lake Powell. If you get a flat on the way to the Glen Canyon Dam overlook or a battery dies at Lone Rock Beach, one call gets help dispatched. That safety net is a big reason first-timers feel confident booking a Page RV trip.

What happens if I need to cancel my Page, AZ RV rental?

Booking is low risk because RVezy sets the cancellation policy for every reservation, not the individual host, so you get consistent terms across all listings in Page. There is a grace period after booking that allows a full refund, and additional protections may apply in certain situations such as host cancellations. Refund amounts depend on how far ahead of your trip you cancel, so the earlier you decide, the more flexibility you have. Full details are shown on the RVezy website during checkout. Pro tip: lock in your dates early since Lake Powell weekends fill up fast, and adjust later if your plans change.

Can I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Page?

Absolutely, plenty of pet-friendly RV rental options in Page welcome your dog along for the adventure. Just toggle the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy and you'll see hosts who allow pets, often with a small cleaning fee disclosed upfront. Page is a fantastic dog town: leashed pups are welcome on the Rim Trail overlooking Lake Powell, at Lone Rock Beach in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, and on the paved paths around Wahweap Marina. Horseshoe Bend also allows leashed dogs on the overlook trail. Pro tip: bring a collapsible water bowl and book early-morning Antelope Canyon tours, since most slot canyon tour operators don't allow pets inside. Your co-pilot is going to love this trip.

Can the RV be delivered to my campground in Page, Arizona?

Yes, RV delivery in Page is one of the smartest moves for first-timers, and many local hosts offer it as an add-on. They will drop the rig at popular spots like Wahweap Campground, Lone Rock Beach, or a vacation rental driveway, level it, hook up water and power, and walk you through every system before they leave. That means zero stress about backing a 30-foot motorhome into a tight site near Glen Canyon. Delivery fees usually scale with distance, and you can confirm exact pricing by messaging the host directly from the listing. Pro tip: ask about generator setup and a starter kit with linens, since many Page hosts include both, making your campervan rental in Page feel like glamping from minute one.

How many miles can I drive on a Page RV trip, and is unlimited mileage available?

You have great flexibility here: many hosts in Page offer generous daily mileage allowances, and some list RV rental with unlimited mileage, which is ideal if you're planning a big loop. Most listings include 100 to 150 free miles per day, with additional miles available at a small per-mile rate clearly shown on the listing. To put that in perspective, the Grand Canyon South Rim is about 135 miles from Page, Zion National Park is roughly 110 miles, Monument Valley is around 125 miles, and Bryce Canyon sits about 150 miles away. Pro tip: filter by Unlimited Mileage and message the host with your route, since they often bundle extra miles into multi-night bookings.

Where are the best campgrounds near Page, Arizona for RV camping?

You're spoiled for choice when it comes to RV camping in Page. Wahweap RV Park and Campground inside Glen Canyon National Recreation Area offers full hookups with sweeping Lake Powell views and is the gold standard. Lone Rock Beach Campground is a primitive, drive-on-the-sand site right at the water's edge, perfect for self-contained rigs. Page Lake Powell Campground sits in town with full hookups, a pool, and easy access to restaurants. Antelope Point RV Park offers upscale sites near the marina. For something quieter, Stateline Campground straddles the Arizona-Utah border. Pro tip: book Wahweap six months out through Recreation.gov for summer weekends, since these are the best campgrounds near Page Arizona and they fill quickly.

When is the best time to visit Page, Arizona in an RV?

The sweet spot for an RV trip Page travelers love is April through mid-May and September through October, when daytime highs sit in the comfortable 70s to low 80s and nights cool into the 40s and 50s, ideal for campfire weather at Lone Rock. Summer (June through August) brings intense heat with highs around 95 to 100 degrees and the monsoon season from mid-July to early September, which can spark dramatic afternoon thunderstorms and flash floods in slot canyons. Winter is quieter and cheaper, with crisp 45 to 55 degree days and occasional light snow. Pro tip: October is the local favorite, with warm Lake Powell water still swimmable and far fewer crowds at Horseshoe Bend.

I've never driven an RV. Will I be okay renting in Page?

You've got this, and first time renting an RV in Page is genuinely easier than people expect. Every RVezy host provides a hands-on orientation at pickup, walking you through driving, leveling, hookups, the awning, the generator, and dumping tanks. You can message your host before booking with any questions, and 24/7 roadside assistance is included if you get stuck. Page's main roads, US-89 and AZ-98, are wide, well-paved, and far less stressful than city driving, with long open stretches toward Kanab or the Grand Canyon. Pro tip: choose a Class C motorhome or a smaller travel trailer for your first trip, and consider delivery to your campground so you skip driving entirely and just enjoy the view of Glen Canyon.
azdot.gov/adot-blog/safe-driving-tips-rv-travelers

What happens if my RV breaks down near Lake Powell?

You are covered. Every RVezy booking in Page includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, so one phone call dispatches help for flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, or mechanical issues, whether you are on US-89 heading toward the Grand Canyon or parked at Lone Rock Beach. Your host is also just a message away and often knows the closest reputable shop in Page or nearby Big Water, Utah. Cell service is solid in town and along main highways, though it can get spotty in remote stretches near Antelope Canyon. Pro tip: download offline maps and save the RVezy support number before leaving town, especially if you are heading into the Vermilion Cliffs area where signal drops.

Can I take my Page, AZ RV rental across state lines or into Mexico?

Yes, an RV road trip from Page can absolutely cross into Utah, and that is one of the best parts of basing here since the Arizona-Utah border is just 15 minutes north. Popular cross-state routes include Page to Zion (about 2 hours), Page to Bryce Canyon (about 3 hours), and Page to Monument Valley along the Arizona-Utah border. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because the protection plan and insurance coverage do not extend across that border. Canada trips from Page are theoretically possible but rarely practical given the distance, and require host approval. Pro tip: the classic Page loop is US-89 to Kanab, into Zion, down through Jacob Lake, and back via the Vermilion Cliffs. It is iconic.

How much should I budget for fuel on a Page RV road trip?

Smart question, and the math is friendlier than you'd think. Most Class C motorhomes get 8 to 12 miles per gallon (MPG), Class B campervans manage 16 to 20 MPG, and travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle but usually pull 10 to 14 MPG combined. Gas prices in Page tend to run slightly above the Arizona average because of its remote location, so fill up in Flagstaff or Kanab when possible. For a typical 4-day loop covering 400 miles in a Class C, budget roughly $150 to $200 in fuel. Pro tip: the Safeway gas station in Page and the Sinclair on US-89 are usually the most affordable in-town options for topping off before heading to Lake Powell.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Page?

Book early and you'll thank yourself later. Most National Park Service sites at Glen Canyon, including Wahweap and Lone Rock Beach, are reservable up to 6 months in advance through Recreation.gov, and summer weekends and holidays genuinely sell out within hours of release. For spring and fall trips, aim for 3 to 4 months ahead. Private parks like Page Lake Powell Campground and Antelope Point RV Park accept reservations directly through their websites and also fill quickly between April and October. Winter is much more flexible and often walk-up friendly. Pro tip: set a calendar alert for exactly 6 months before your target date at 7 a.m. Mountain Time, when Recreation.gov releases new inventory, and have your RV length ready.

What are driving conditions like around Page, Arizona?

Driving in and around Page is among the easier RV experiences in the Southwest. US-89 and AZ-98 are wide, modern, and lightly trafficked outside summer weekends, with long sight lines and gentle grades. The biggest things to watch for are sudden crosswinds on the open mesa, especially in April and May, monsoon flash floods from mid-July through early September that can briefly close low-water crossings, and the occasional steep descent toward Glen Canyon Dam. Avoid narrow side roads to slot canyons in larger rigs, since several are unpaved and tight. Elevations sit around 4,300 feet, so engines run fine without altitude concerns. Pro tip: check Arizona 511 before driving toward the Grand Canyon's North Rim, since seasonal closures from October to mid-May affect AZ-67.

What amenities will I find at campgrounds near Page?

Page-area campgrounds run the full spectrum, so you can pick your comfort level. Wahweap RV Park offers full hookups (water, sewer, 50-amp electric), a dump station, laundry, showers, a marina store, and a swimming pool. Page Lake Powell Campground in town has full hookups, Wi-Fi, a pool, and a hot tub. Antelope Point provides upscale full hookups right by the marina. Lone Rock Beach is primitive with vault toilets and a single dump station and potable water fill at the entrance, perfect if your rig is self-contained. The Glen Canyon NRA dump station near Wahweap is open to non-guests for a small fee. Pro tip: fill fresh water in town before heading to Lone Rock, since the entrance fill can get busy on summer mornings.
nps.gov/glca/planyourvisit/campgrounds.htm

What's included inside a typical Page, AZ RV rental?

You'll find most rigs in Page come ready to roll the moment you turn the key. Expect a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, sink, and basic cookware; a bathroom with toilet and shower; comfortable sleeping for 2 to 8 depending on the rig; roof and dash air conditioning, which is essential for Lake Powell summers; a furnace for chilly desert nights; and seatbelted seating for travel. Many motorhome rental Page listings also include a generator, outdoor awning, leveling blocks, and a TV, with Wi-Fi hotspots and Starlink increasingly common. Linens, towels, and kitchen kits are often add-ons. Pro tip: filter by Sleeps and AC, then message hosts about generator hours, since you'll want it for running AC at Lone Rock where there are no hookups.
energy.gov/energysaver/articles/staying-cool-summer

What add-ons and pickup options can I expect when I rent an RV in Page?

Hosts in Page offer a great menu of add-ons to customize your trip. Common extras include delivery and setup, generator use packages, bedding and towel kits, camp chairs and outdoor tables, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (huge on Lake Powell), Wi-Fi hotspots, and pet cleaning fees. Pickup is typically at the host's location in Page or nearby Big Water, Utah, with most rentals running on a check-in window between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and check-out by 11 a.m. Mileage policies vary by listing and are spelled out clearly before you book. Pro tip: ask about a SUP or kayak add-on, since renting watercraft separately at Wahweap Marina can cost more than the host's bundled rate.
nps.gov/glca/planyourvisit/boating.htm

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment is straightforward and fully handled through the RVezy platform, so you never hand cash to the host. Your booking total, including nightly rate, taxes, protection plan, and any add-ons, is charged when the host confirms your reservation. A separate refundable security deposit is pre-authorized on your card before pickup and released after a successful return. To avoid any issues, take time-stamped photos of the RV inside and out at pickup and drop-off, return it at the agreed fuel level, and dump the tanks if your host requires it. Pro tip: a quick walkaround video at handover is the single best protection for your deposit.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-works

Can I rent an RV in Page during winter, and is it worth it?

Yes, a winter RV rental in Page is absolutely available and quietly one of the best-kept secrets in the Southwest. December through February brings crisp, sunny 45 to 55 degree days, cold nights dropping into the 20s and low 30s, occasional light snow, and far fewer crowds at Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and Glen Canyon Dam. Many hosts offer winter discounts off peak rates. Look for rigs with heated holding tanks, a working furnace, and shore power compatibility, since Page Lake Powell Campground keeps full hookups open year-round. Pro tip: book a Class C with a propane furnace and plan a shore-power site, and you will have the iconic red rock views nearly to yourself at cheap RV rental Page pricing.
