Yvon was the most considerate host! I highly recommend his services and van to anyone who thinks his van is what you need! His converted van worked perfectly for my 7 year old son and I to go camping. The bed is basically a twin bed in size and extremely comfortable. Yvon also has his van equipped with everything you need to camp off grid with all the bells and whistles to give you an enjoyable camping experience. The solar system in the van also supports 110v plug ins which was very handy when needed.

What license do I need to rent an RV in Lincoln, NH?

Great news for first-time renters: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Lincoln, NH. New Hampshire does not require a special endorsement or commercial license for personal-use motorhomes or travel trailers, even the larger Class A rigs. You'll need to be 25 or older with a valid license, and RVezy verifies your ID securely through the platform during booking. Visiting from outside the U.S.? Bring an International Driving Permit alongside your home-country license. Most guests are surprised how simple the process is, and you can be approved and booked in well under an hour, ready to roll toward the Kancamagus Highway.

What if my plans change? Can I cancel my Lincoln, NH RV rental?

Yes. RVezy applies a standard cancellation policy to every booking, including a grace period right after you book so you can lock in your dates with confidence. Refund outcomes depend on how far in advance you cancel relative to your trip start date. Because RVezy (not the individual host) manages the cancellation policy, terms are consistent across every listing in Lincoln. If a host cancels on you, RVezy helps you rebook or issues a refund or travel credit. Pro tip: book early to secure peak foliage weekends, knowing flexibility is built in.

Lincoln is a true four-season destination, so the best time depends on your vibe. Summer (late June through August) brings warm days of 70 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit, perfect for hiking and swimming holes. What are the best road trips from Lincoln, NH in an RV?

Lincoln is the perfect launchpad. How much should I budget for fuel on a Lincoln, NH RV trip?

Easy to plan for. Class C motorhomes around Lincoln typically average 8 to 12 miles per gallon, campervans 16 to 20, and large Class A rigs 6 to 9. Gas prices in New Hampshire run close to the U.S. average, and you'll find convenient fill-ups in Lincoln and North Woodstock right off I-93 Exit 32. Important local tip: the Kancamagus Highway has no gas stations along its 35-mile stretch, so always top off in Lincoln or Conway before driving the Kanc. For a 4-day, 300-mile loop in a Class C, plan on roughly $120 to $180 in fuel. Pro tip: GasBuddy works well in the Notch region.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Lincoln, NH?

The earlier the better, especially for fall. Franconia Notch State Park campgrounds (Lafayette Place) and White Mountain National Forest sites like Hancock and Big Rock book through Recreation.gov and open reservations 6 months in advance, which is when peak foliage and summer weekends fill up. NH State Park sites can be reserved via ReserveAmerica/NHStateParks.org. Private parks like Lincoln/Woodstock KOA and Country Bumpkins fill quickly for July, August, and the last two weekends of September. Pro tip: if you strike out, ask your RVezy host about delivering to a private host site or message them about boondocking options on White Mountain National Forest dispersed land.

What are the driving conditions like around Lincoln, NH?

Lincoln is one of the more RV-friendly mountain towns in New England. I-93 north and south of town is a smooth four-lane highway, and the Kancamagus Highway (Route 112) is paved with gradual grades, though it does climb to nearly 3,000 feet at Kancamagus Pass with a few sweeping curves, so take it slow in a larger rig. In Franconia Notch, I-93 narrows to the Franconia Notch Parkway (one lane each direction) with a posted RV-friendly speed limit. Watch for moose at dawn and dusk, and expect snow and possible chain advisories from November through April. Pro tip: check NH 511 before driving in winter.
newengland511.org/

What amenities will I find at campgrounds near Lincoln, NH?

You'll find a great range. Full-hookup parks like Lincoln/Woodstock KOA and Country Bumpkins offer water, 30/50-amp electric, sewer, Wi-Fi, hot showers, laundry, and dump stations on site. White Mountain National Forest campgrounds like Hancock and Big Rock are more rustic with potable water spigots, vault toilets, fire rings, and bear-proof food storage, but no hookups. A public dump station is available at the Lincoln/Woodstock KOA (fee for non-guests) and at several USFS sites along the Kanc. Pro tip: fill your fresh water tank in town before heading to a national forest campground, and bring a 25-foot sewer hose if you're staying at a full-hookup site.

Many include a TV, Bluetooth stereo, outdoor awning, camp chairs, and a propane grill. Class C and Class A motorhomes sleep 4 to 8, campervans sleep 2 to 4, and travel trailers and fifth wheels can sleep up to 10, ideal for a family RV trip Lincoln NH parents love. Use the search filters and message hosts directly to confirm winter use. Country Bumpkins and a few private parks stay open year-round, and Hancock Campground (USFS) is open all winter with reduced services. Expect overnight lows from 0 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit in January. Pro tip: ask your host for a heated water hose and an RV skirt, and plan to dump tanks before they freeze.

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy for a Lincoln, NH rental?

Simple and secure. You pay for your Lincoln RV rental through RVezy at booking using a credit or debit card, never directly to the host, which keeps everything tracked and protected. A refundable security deposit is held separately from your booking payment (typically $500 to $1,500 depending on the rig) just before your trip starts, and it is released after the trip provided there is no damage or excess cleaning. To avoid issues, take time-stamped photos at pickup and return, follow the host's fuel and dump-tank policy, and stay within your included mileage. Pro tip: complete the walkthrough checklist together with your host for the smoothest deposit return.
