This charming former lumber town is known for being one of the best spots in the state for adventure seekers, with the Oregon Badlands, the Deschutes National Forest, and the Cascades surrounding the city. Bend is also the largest metro area in Central Oregon and is home to many of the best eateries and attractions in the region.

During your Bend motorhome rental, you'll no doubt spend most of your time exploring Central Oregon's diverse wilderness. However, if you're heading into the city, you shouldn't have any issues parking your RV. Bend is spaced out and easy to navigate, and the downtown area is very pedestrian-friendly.
Campers looking to learn about the local area will want to swing by the High Desert Museum. The museum is home to nearly 30,000 artifacts, ranging from Old West paintings to Native American textiles. Additionally, the museum has a few animal exhibits, including river otters, porcupines, and desert tortoises.
Bend is also a popular area for winter sports. Mount Bachelor ski resort covers over 1,000 acres and is the largest ski resort in Oregon. Adventurers can try their hand at several winter sports, including snowboarding, tubing, and dog sledding.

Located just 4 miles from downtown, the Crown Villa RV Resort is one of the best RV campgrounds in Bend. Each pull-through site comes with full hookups and 30- and 50- amp electricity. Another well-equipped campground a stone's throw from downtown is the Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park. This campground offers over 100 sites with full hookups that support 20/30/50-amp electricity. In addition, you'll find a few hiking and biking trails near the camp, as well as a golf course next door. Sites are pet friendly, and there's a large off-leash dog area onsite. Amenities are standard and include laundry facilities, showers, and restrooms.
Or, leave the city behind and stay at the Bend/Sisters Garden RV Resort. Situated 17 miles north of Bend at the base of Three Sisters, this campground features full hookup sites that allow 50-amp electricity. The Bend/Sisters Garden RV Park is ideal for getting outdoors — trek up a nearby mountain, plan a picnic along the Metolius River, or soak in the Cougar Hot Springs. There are also a few amenities to make your stay more comfortable, like showers, restrooms, and a laundry room.
