New Calendar Tools Can Help Increase Your Rental Requests by 25%

Did you know that the way you manage your listing helps guests discover more about your RV, understand what comes with your rental, read about past rental experiences, and learn about you as a host? We’ve seen hosts who consistently keep their listing and calendar up to date see up to a 25% increase in bookings.

Since managing your calendar is one of the most important parts of hosting, we’ve introduced calendar availability settings on the RVezy app (iOS and Android). The availability settings are a new set of tools inside your calendar that will help you easily manage your RV's availability and update your preferences, giving you better control over the requests you receive.

Here are the settings available to you in your calendar tab:

• Check-in and checkout days —  Select which days you are available for guests to pick up and return your RV
  
• Pickup and drop-off time — Choose a preferred time slot for guests to pick up and return the RV so you have time to prepare for your next rental.
  
• Minimum nights — Set your RV’s minimum nights and only get bookings that match your preferences.
  
• Advanced notice — Don’t like same-day rentals? Avoid them by setting a minimum notice period between the booking request date and the trip date.
  
• Availability window — Setting an availability window helps you control how far into the future a guest can book your RV and prevents unnecessary declines.
  
• Rental season — Set your rental availability period to avoid rental requests during the off-season or when you’ve winterized or stored your RV.
  
  

Getting started with your calendar tab

Tap the calendar on your navigation bar in your RVezy app.

When you tap on a date or select a date range, the calendar editor will help you make quick edits to your pricing and availability.

The calendar also includes two additional tools:

• Calendar sync
  Sync any of your other calendars with RVezy’s, so you never have to worry about updating your calendar when you receive a booking elsewhere.
  
• Availability settings
  This section within your calendar tab helps you easily manage your RV's availability and update your preferences.
