What's Changing?

Preparation Time now works with one clear option: a buffer that blocks the day before and after a booking, so you're never stuck with a same-day turnaround.

We've removed the 2-day buffer option. If your RV was set to a 2-day buffer, it's already been automatically updated to the 1-day buffer. Your listing is still protected from same-day turnarounds — nothing about your booking calendar needs any attention from you

💬 Why We Made This Change?

We built Preparation time to give hosts breathing room to properly clean, inspect, and reset your RV between trips. But as more hosts used it, a few things became clear:

Most hosts only needed the basics. The overwhelming majority of hosts using Preparation Time just wanted to avoid same-day turnarounds — not a multi-day buffer.

Two days was costing host's bookings. This was the big one. If your RV had a 2-day buffer and got booked for a weekend, both surrounding weekends could end up blocked too — closing off midweek availability that guests would have happily booked. That's lost income for a turnover window you didn't actually need.

This update keeps the core benefit — protection from same-day turnarounds, without the calendar gaps that weren't serving hosts.

What This Means for You

• No action required. If you had the 1-day buffer, nothing changes.
• If you had the 2-day buffer, you've automatically been moved to the 1-day buffer. You'll still have the day before and after each booking blocked off, so same-day turnarounds are still fully covered.
• Your calendar has more open availability for midweek bookings that may have previously been blocked.
