Once our team approves an RV, it's covered by RVezy's best-in-class insurance each time it’s rented out on our platform.
Liability. RVezy provides $1 million in liability coverage for American guests and hosts and $2 million in liability coverage for Canadian guests and hosts. Liability covers you if you cause physical injury and/or damage to someone else’s property while using the RV.
Collisions. Although they are not frequent, accidents do happen. RVezy’s collision insurance covers the cost of repairs for any claimed and approved damages related to the RV coming into contact with another vehicle or object during the rental period.
Comprehensive. Damaged awning? Fire? Vandalism? Theft? We’ve got you covered. RVezy’s comprehensive insurance covers the cost of repairs and/or replacement for non-collision-related incidents that occur during the rental period.
Standard accident benefits. Property can always be fixed or replaced, but injuries aren’t so easy. In the event someone is injured, RVezy offers industry-standard American and Canadian accident benefits coverage during the rental period.

***RV hosts with motorhomes licensed and registered in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, Nunavut, or Northwest Territories are solely responsible for having a valid peer-to-peer rental commercial policy for their RV.
Insurance is provided on RVezy bookings. Each guest has the opportunity to pay for a protection package which limits their financial exposure in the event of an insurance claim. RVezy offers either standard or premium protection during the booking process.
The protection for both standard and premium plans is the same. The only differences are the nightly rate and the financial responsibility in the event of a claim.
Standard protection has a lower nightly rate with a higher financial responsibility*. Depending on the RV, the financial liability varies between $1,500 to $3,000.
Premium protection has a higher nightly rate with a lower financial responsibility*. Depending on the RV, the financial liability varies between $500 to $2,000.
*In the event of a claim, the financial responsibility is the amount of money that the guest must pay out of pocket before the insurance provider pays any expenses.
The security deposit is an amount set by the host to help quickly resolve minor incidents that don’t require an insurance claim. For example, a stained carpet might require a carpet cleaning without going through an insurance provider.**
The security deposit is charged to the guest's credit card three days before the trip start date. If the trip results in additional charges from overages or damages, all parties will agree to the charges during the closeout, and RVezy will deduct the agreed-upon amount from the security deposit. Any remaining balance will then be refunded to the guest.
**Note: RVezy offers an in-house support team to help resolve disputes or insurance claims when required.
For guests who want complete peace of mind during their trip, RVezy offers optional 24/7 roadside assistance for as little as $9.50 per night. Unlike typical roadside assistance plans, RVezy covers unforeseen costs beyond tire replacement or towing services.
