The van is straightforward to operate and has all the essentials, plus several homey personal touches that make it feel very special - it is clear that this is Alex’s passion project! The kitchen was very functional. The bed was extremely comfortable, and long enough for my 6’3” spouse to sleep comfortably. The van was also tall enough for him to stand fully inside. The heater warmed up the van easily in the chilly evenings. Alex is also a wonderful host- a friendly, responsive, and helpful person with a great sense of humor. I could not recommend Marengo more!

The van itself was equipped with all the essentials, very comfortable bed, simple to run from the point of view of electrics and water. The service from the owner (and his father) was superb. I would definitely rent this van again, particularly given the service from the owner.

The van ran great and when we had questions about the lights and fridge Alex responded to us right away and walked us through it. Spoke with both Alex and his father, Steve, and they were both extremely easy going, honest and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely rent from them again!

It had everything you needed and the driving was smooth. Inside, you feel cozy with all the wood, and people stopped us frequently to say how nice was the van. I would absolutely recommend this renting!
Pamela W.Jul 2021Such a great trip. Marengo has all you need to get out and adventure. Slept so comfortably. We used the little fan at night to keep the mosquitos away and it worked brilliantly. Super relaxing. Picking up and dropping off were seamless. The gas mileage was really quite good. Comfort and versatility so great. I won't go into too much detail here, but I had some extenuating circumstances and he treated me as if I were family. The wood work is gorgeous, the bed is very comfy! The van even had camping chairs, tables, tea, coffee, and some left over firewood. Alex was great to communicate with.
