On time and as described, we had an amazing trip in Thor. AC and heater were great for the fall weather.

The beast was well equipped with everything we needed for our vacation , handled well in the mountains and everybody was comfortable at night . The host Nick was easy going and responded quickly and friendly to any questions I had . I will recommend him to friends and would rent again .

Motorhome drivetrain and RV heating, water and septic systems worked well and we've had good communication with owners, would rent this unit again if opportunity comes up.

Overall great experience with Nick and his partner. They both were very lovely to deal with and accommodating to our last minute request. The main bed was comfortable. Bedding and towels were clean. Drives OK. Wouldn't go on a far journey in it. Generator also let's out a gas smell when you switch it off so was concerning to use for a long period of time.

Great rig and awesome people to deal with!

Our trip did not get started quite as expected. The renters from the previous booking were late in returning the RV and we got off to a late start. Although not their fault, Nick and Sheena kindly offered us a discount for the late pickup. After that our trip with the unit was awesome. The motor home was everything we expected. The unit was easy to drive, set up was a breeze and everything we used worked fine. We had some warm weather so the a/c got a good test. There were just two of us and we found it had plenty of room when we were inside. The bed was very comfortable for sleeping. The motor home was well equiped and the only camping item of ours that we took along was a screen tent.

SHeena and Nick were so kind and supportive. Any questions were promptly answered. We loved our little holiday and were so comfortable in their unit. We will definitely book again and recommend them to others. Thank you for making this dream come true for our father. ❤️❤️❤️

This unit was easy to use, clean, and the owners are friendly and so great to work with! Smooth drive, and everything mechanically works! My tall & wide hubby fit in the shower with no problems. The sofa is very comfy, and the heater kept us warm all night. Can’t rave enough about this rig!

Amazing RV for a friends trip. The owners were super reactive to our questions and flexible with our arrival time. I would recommend it to anyone.

Nick and his wife were very helpful and easy to communicate with during pickup and drop off. They shared a Dropbox of videos which explained how to empty the water tanks or troubleshoot any potential issues. The only concern was the RV could be stocked better with cooking equipment (only one pot and no frying pan) and if we didn’t bring extra bedding we would have been chilly. Overall great experience

Our family really enjoyed the week and the process was pretty straightforward being our first time using an RV. A few problems with the app not working properly for the check-out and check-in but thankfully Sheena was easy to get ahold of and communicate with.

Firstly I would like to thank Nick for the use of his RV while my family was in Alberta. The Beast has lots of sleeping space and a working furnace for cool nights. Despite the rough drive and awful steering it did get us from point A to point B within 100 km. Nick I would suggest a garage visit and reviewing the appropriateness of your cleaning staff between lend outs. I spent 2-3 hours cleaning the Beast to make it comfortable for my family. The fridge worked throughout our stay with no issues, however the smell in the fridge was awful and the mold unacceptable. It seems that the fridge was not wiped out before you stored it prior. I scrubbed the toilet but unfortunately was unable to rid of the mold on the toilet flap. Walls were pretty clean but the cupboards need some TLC cleaning on the outside. Inside the cupboards was clean, thank you. The dishes provided were dollar store quality and well used. I stored them for the owner and used my own. I would like to point out that the pull out couch mattress is unacceptable and unusable. The air mattress is deformed and leaking. The pullout couch bedframe was sturdy, so we ended up going to home depot to have a piece of plywood cut to place overtop then our own camping cot mattresses placed on top to sleep on. The electrical outlet at doorway needs serviced…I didn’t have time to look at it while I was there. As for the Black Tank, it was reading 2/3 full on pick up… didn’t think anything of it as any RV owner knows the sensors are not reliable. What I dumped and flushed out of that black tank as per instruction was poor maintenance in the owners part…there was build up of sewage sludge+++ from previous rent outs or owners usage. There was no black hose to flush the tank and owners threatened to charge an extra 300.00 if tank was not clean. They did offer the use of their green hose to get the job done. The under storage bins were a disaster… everything was just thrown in… along with a bloody duvet. Overall the Beast was somewhere to sleep during my stay in Alberta, but I will not be renting it again nor suggesting it to anyone else.

Read all, I would still recommend but with warnings. The unit is very old, and you can tell. The pull out bed’s arms fell apart and the air mattress was so deformed, we preferred to use the couch instead to converting it. The black water tank never went back to empty, even after emptying it 3 times and with ice (it must have a trick or something) Cleaning charge: the unit was clean(decent) none of the linens were fresh (thankfully we took our own). we left one plate dirty and normal use dirtying and got charged $300 more! Watch for this… we numerous times asked how we could ensure to empty the black tank when returning it, and the person didn’t know. We did the walk through with him, and he didn’t point to $300 worth of extra charges. Nick and girlfriend are extremely unresponsive. Overall we enjoyed our trip, and we made it back safely. I would recommend it if you watch for these I mentioned.

Nick’s RV was filthy. We spent 5 hrs cleaning windows, drawers, plates, utensils, floors, seats, carpet, shower and toilet. Blankets were bloody and smelled like wet dog. We bought new towels, sheets, pots&pans. Toilet leaked and shower leaked from faucet and drained through floor on to camp grounds. When we realized that 2 of the back tires were completely bald, I called the owner and was told that we should find another rental. I found a tire shop and they brought tires from their home to install. By 4:30 on day #2 I realized that we’d missed 2 days of fishing and hiking- 25% of our vacation. I requested reimbursement for one day rental and cleaning fee. Finally got the tire installation fee $210C \ $150 US and a promise for 50% of my requested refund. Upon my return, I spent 3hrs cleaning inside and out to provide the next renter with a better experience. Hope they’ll appreciate it.
