- Jean M.Sep 2025We rented Hillaree for camping in the Provincial Parks and had a wonderful experience in the van. It’s a sturdy older van outfitted very clean and comfortably inside. Perfect for two people and easy to drive. I really liked how it looks like a work van, so we didn’t feel as “touristy” driving around Vancouver, Victoria, and up to Whistler. Kate was very easy to communicate with in advance of the rental and during the rental period too when we had a minor problem with the sink one evening. We hope to rent the van again in the future for further exploring around Vancouver Island next time.

Mike T.Jul 2023My partner and I rented Ruth for 16 days for a 2,000 mile trip this Summer coming over from Europe, and the van is ideal. It's super cosy, well loved, and roomy for 2 with plenty good quality gear packed in and storage for a wonderful trip. Also being tall (6' 3") the bed had the room we needed to get comfortable! The van was great to drive and so easy to handle and manage in comparison to your typical RV, it really was a dream. Can't tell you how many people (mostly aged 8-14) stopped to tell us how great and cool the van was. Thank you!
