Great response time with host. Could’ve been cleaner but other than a quick sweep after getting it, it was fine.

Terrible experience dealing with this host from start to finish. First off, we received the trailer in extremely filthy condition. It was definitely not cleaned at all from the previous trips, the floor and countertops had dirt caked on, there was sand everywhere and when you sat on the couch a plume of dust would come off. My wife was quite disgusted when she found multiple dirty socks in both the bunk and the master bed, as well as other dirty laundry hidden around the trailer. I really am not sure what they are charging a cleaning fee for. Second, we received the trailer with a broken stove element which I had to point out to the host as he did not notice. Third, the stabilizer levelers were completely rusted out, bent and not maintained. It was quite hard to get the trailer mildly stabilized. They look like they have never been greased or lubricated. Fourth, we hooked up the trailer to city water and the pipes inside the trailer started leaking on the floor so we were unable to use the city water hookup for the remainder of the trip. Fifth, the AC would not work and kept freezing up. The filters were so caked with grime and dirt, and the AC obviously needed a gas recharge. This AC has clearly never been serviced. We spoke to about 10 other sites within the campsite and they all told us their ACs were working perfectly fine in the heat. This issue definitely was the biggest, because it became quite dangerous with having an infant and a toddler on the trip and not being able to cool them down when they became too hot. We had to sit in my truck, running the vehicle with the AC on to cool them down. We nearly had to cut our trip short but luckily (completely at our own discretion) we brought a portable home AC unit just in case there were any problems and were finally able to set it within the trailer (harder than you think and does not work that great). Sixth, I rented the torsion bar hitch from the host and after unhitching at the camp site the pin fell out somewhere. So I had to drive the trailer home without torsion bars for stabilization. And lastly, dealing with the host on checkout was a truly astonishing experience. Even after all the issues that occurred during our trip we were willing to look past them, not complain or be upset and just move on. However, the way he acted during the checkout we could no longer keep our silence. He tried to tell us that he has never had a single issue with this trailer before and tried to blame me for many of the issues that were plaguing this trailer. Look, I was expecting maybe a few minor things to go wrong as it’s a travel trailer and I am pretty understanding and easy going. But not 6 issues and some of them major issues like the AC which are from pure negligence and obvious lack of maintenance on the trailer. Then to top it off, he had the audacity to blame us for his obvious lack of maintenance, negligence and issues the trailer is facing while gaslighting us pretending that the trailer is in pristine condition, telling us there has not been a single issue before our rental. And for the final icing on the cake, he accused us of complaining just to try to get the trailer for free, let me be perfectly clear, we never once asked to receive any sort of discount after the trip was over, I just wanted to be done with this horrible experience and as I mentioned, move on. All in all, this experience was quite the nightmare. Renting this trailer is not worth the headache. From the clear lack of maintenance on the trailer, to the utter lack of cleanliness (especially when charging a cleaning fee) and the pure negligence and unwillingness to take any accountability by the host. The host clearly does not care about this trailer and is just interested in milking it dry for pure profit. If after reading this, you somehow are still interested in renting this trailer, make sure you ask a ton of questions and do a proper pre-trip walkthrough making sure everything not only looks proper but be shown that it is in true working shape. Rent at your own risk.
